    Aye.

With them getting a late winner, we're possibly going to need one.

Not a great outcome. Makes missing a pen all the more criminal. And his header looked easier to bury than a penalty.

Going to need to win at Tynie to have any chance of bettering fourth.

Would have bit your hand off for 7 points out of 9 from our opening fixtures. Just unfortunate the other teams are picking up points. Need a draw or Huns win against Aberdeen. Must win the Derby.

Very good result for Hibs today at one of the hardest venues in the country to get anything from.
Pity about the penalty miss early in the game but these things happen. There was no guarantee whatsoever that Hibs would have gone on to win the game especially considering there was only seven minutes played at the time. Aberdeen came very close several times as well. A tight game it seemed between two equally matched teams but as I say an excellent result.

What has went against us today very much was the Rangers getting a late winner against Killie. I think this gives them the edge in the race for for second. Hibs will certainly have to win our last two games to have any chance.

Agreed. We have done extremely well in these first three post-split games.

We need teams to take points off the Rangers and Aberdeen, but we have to win both our last games to have a chance of second.

We should have had a second penalty just before the final whistle. Aberdeen defenders shoves Boyley in the box.

I think we really needed to win this one today. Good performance overall but I feel we've let 2nd slip away. Hoping I'm wrong.

Aye, Hearts and Kilmarnock have done nothing. That's what's kept it all so tight.

That said, today will be looked back upon as either a very good point or a bad two lost. Aberdeen are likely to lose their next two games, while we're not likely to lose them. It's merely a question of whether or not we can win both, because we'll probably need to.

If Aberdeen win against Rangera we're playing for third. I think they'll probably lose one of the two, most Likely at Parkhead. We need the sheep to at very least draw or lose the next two. And for Hibs to win all two.

I'm hoping the Sheep win on Tuesday. If we win our last 2 and the Sheep lose at Parkheid - which is a near certainty - then we'll take 2nd place on goal difference (unless the sheep hump the hun). A Sheep win on Tues also gives us the added insurance of a draw to stay ahead on the Hun in last game. Gotta play the odds.

Still in for second with 2 games to go. We might not make it but we’ve had a bloody good go.

Spot on. 7 out of 9 points is a great effort.

Exactly. Its not quite in our hands but bloody close to it. If we hold up our end with 2 wins & Celtic put a few past the Sheep in their final game...

A draw at Pittodrie is a fine result and continues our superb form. It really is an indication of our progress under Lennon that we are disappointed not to take all three points today.

Two game to go, we are three points from 2nd and still have a chance to secure runners up spot, what a fantastic effort by Hibs this season.

Onto Tynie, however bad they are they will put more effort into the game against us than the other 4 split games collectively. If we can win on Wednesday it will be massive as I can't see us not beating the Huns next Sunday.

Whatever happens between now and next Sunday teatime it's been a great season to be a Hibee. Long may it continue

I'd go as far as saying it's in our hands.

There's only a goal in it between us and Aberdeen, so if we win and they lose the goal difference is overturned. It's, quite literally, a question of points. If we win our final two games, the only way we can be beaten into second is if Aberdeen take four points from their final two games... Games they've taken nothing from this season, to this point.

If we win both games, that means 'Rangers' can only net three points as a maximum which puts us above them no matter what.

Goal difference really doesn't come into it.

2nd is certainly still on but whether it’s 2nd, 3rd or 4th it’s been a fantastic season and a remarkable effort from the returning boys in green
