    Hibernian v Killie

As the west coast press pop their tadgers back in the trousers after yet another money shot about Steve Clarke, Hibs fans know where the real deal is. Neil Lennon has shaped a rather excellent team, from the fine group Alan Stubbs collected and Neil and the backroom recruitment people has supplemented the squad with a few crackers. We have our knockers, no idea why, we really are where its at, press, tv and radio has proven so this week.

The Errshire Huns, lets be honest its what they are, indeed most people from Errshire possibly are, but the team have been decent, even the fat hun $#@! with the $#@!e re-thatch. A few good players and a good manager has seen the unintelligble hillbillies of Errshire wash their scarves, stop heading doon the juniors or up to the Hunnery and add a few thousand to their pretty pathetic attendance numbers. Woopy $#@!ing doo.

As they serenade us with their crude version of the Billy Boys, I expect us to go right at them in a nearly full stadium, empty seats as their away support is better than t was, but its no great eh?

Resurrection is not 3000 to 4500, resurrection is 6000 to 20,000. Neil is the resurrection and Neil has made Hibs live. I know I couldn't ever bring myself to hate him as others like. (c. Ian Brown, John Squires).

Team, well Daz might be back, Scotty is. I watched Ryan Porteous lead the Wee Hibs to Scottish Cup victory, ably assisted by a number of young Hibs men. I witnessed an excellent performance from Danny Swanson and a great return from Brenda Barker last week against the lessers. Deary me, the choices!

No sure as work means I have not seen pre match chats, but I would go with:

    Ofir
    Efe Daz Paul
Boyler Lewis (who can I just say was brilliant next week, trust me)
Dylan, Super John, Scotty are a given, enjoy them why it lasts.
Up front is the fantastic Flo K and the quietly ruthless Jamie Mac.

Any of the above cannae play, we have Ryan P, Whitts, Olly, Slivka, Danny and Barts before we think about keepers and excellent cup winning laddies.

My pal, irregular bouncer, esteemed author and sadly wheelchair bound fellow reb said hello at Easter Road West after last nights game. He said 'Its a great time to be a Hibby'. It is.

    See you behind the goals.

    Hibernian Forever.

    Brenda Barker?

    Predictive text is a bugger

Killie are on a super run, so are we.

Home win. Might be a bit tricky though.

Another tough game for us. Killie are a gritty, well-organised team with some good players and a prolific goalscorer leading their line. They have had an incredible second half of the season since Clarke took over. Hibs are at home however and we really have to take advantage and win this game. If we play anything like the way we did against Celtic we will not have any problems. You never know in football though.

    2-0 Hibs.

Suspect that will be starting team. Personally I'd keep Danny in with scotty on the bench. Bench will be very strong. Great options for Lenny.

Was saying to some folk last night that this is where you want to be: every game just gets bigger and bigger, with each one pivotal.

Last week: on paper hardest fixture, need a result to stay in touch. WIN.
This week: anticipating Huns slipping up v Celtc, stay in touch with the Sheep, and the need to tuck Kilmarnock's challenge away. MUST WIN.
Next week: reel the Sheep in. MUST WIN.
Following midweek: let's face it, the only game the Gunts are gonnae try a leg in. For me, biggest potential banana skin. MUST WIN.
Last day: let's hope it's still all to play for. Beat them, and nappers will be falling off all over Glasgow and beyong. MUST WIN.

In short, I think we need to win all our fixtures, and we are well capable.

We will need to win all our games to finish second IMO. A tall order it has to be said and the odds are stacked against us. We are still playing catch-up even if we beat Kilmarnock today and the Rangers lose tomorrow. It would be an amazing achievement but for me Hibs have already achieved more than I thought they would this season. A win today would secure fourth spot and possibly Europe. Thereafter we just have to give it everything we have got in each game and hope for the best. Today s game is vital though and it won't be easy..

    Fae twitter...

Hearing on the radio the easter road paramedics fought for 20mins to revive the guy who had a heart attack and have saved him.

It was a woman. Well done paramedics.

    Fae twitter...

Hearing on the radio the easter road paramedics fought for 20mins to revive the guy who had a heart attack and have saved him.

It was a woman. Well done paramedics.
This is the result of the day. Watched it all instead of the game, expected the worse but delighted to hear she saved him. From the east it looked utterly grim. Whoever it is who survived I’m so happy, live long my Hibby pal

Great news they've survived, the East was a bit flat as we watched them pumping away on the persons chest for 20 mins.

The round of applause as they were stretchered away was a nice touch.

We wondered what the round of applause was? Thought it was the usual tribute to a Hibee that had died, so joined in. Seems like a lot of people thought that as the clapping stopped after a minute.

Did Killie have a goal disallowed to make it 4-4? I was “watching” the game on Bet365 live text commentary and the score went to 4-4 momentarily and obviously all the odds changed. Was swearing at my phone then all of a sudden the score changed back to 4-3 Hibs, then soon after 5-3 - phew!

Boyd was clearly offside, his body was a foot off, his arse was two foot off.

Money to be made there or do they void all bets taken in the period they thought it was 4-4?

Although the score and odds were live I think there is a delay when any in-play bet is placed to check against the current score, any penalties been awarded, red cards etc. Sadly I don’t think it is possible to beat the system anymore!
