    Scottish Cup Semis

    2-0 Motherwell,Aberdeen having a nightmare.

Could do without Aberdeen getting the cash boost a cup win would bring anyway....

Aberdeen living up to their bottle-merchant reputation so far.
Seems like there's a hole in my dreams, or so it seems

Really bad defending from them for Wells 2 goals. Hopefully this run of defeats they’re on continues well into the split

Aberdeen an absolute shambles defensively....weak and uncertain. They can't cope with Motherwell's physicality in the last third and they are struggling badly to create anything. They are badly missing their three suspended players. They look shot mentally to be honest. They have to score before half-time to have any chance IMO. I think Hibs have a better chance of catching Aberdeen than the huns.

It does mean that we have to climb the table in order to secure a Euro spot doesn't it? Or is it only if Well win the cup?

Only if well win the cup. We just need to keep winning especially with the form of Kilmarnock

Fair play to Motherwell getting to both finals this season, and on the back of selling their main striker in January.

Wonder if there are a few omens for them - losing the league cup final, beating Hearts on the way to the Scottish Cup final, if they get the Huns it could be a mirror of 2016...

Third year in a row a non old firm side has made both finals. I’d like to see Motherwell win, if were in the top 3.

Motherwell were superb in that game today and took full advantage of an Aberdeen team who looked shaky and disorganised from the start. I think McIness has been there too long and I expect him to leave in the summer. Motherwell will be a handful for either of the Old Firm in the final.

His post match comments aren’t great - slagging off recruitment and saying the performance is not his fault, could have a bad effect on moral going into the final few league games... excellent.

    Today's wish list...

For Scott Brown to be sent off. For Morelos to be sent off. For them to all kick lumps out of each other and for Celtc players to pick up knocks that keep them out for 2 weeks. Preferably McGregor or Forrest or Dembele. Rangers players to endure longer term injuries. Both to be thrown out of the competition for bringing the game into disrepute.

    Too much to ask?

That's been said quite a lot lately among dons fans here. They reckon he's done all he can for Aberdeen, and the team is on the wane.
Time for McInnes to move on.

Steve Clarke is flavour of the month with dons fans...............

Not enough, an outbreak of serious food poisoning for both clubs and a plague of locusts on the Huns end.

Just dropped my missus off for a train to the Weej, the station was very busy with thellick fans, not a cream bun to be seen.

We probably don't want Celtc players to down tools too soon. If they lost today then win the league against us or Orcs then they'd be half packed for their trips to Dubai or Florida. Getting them to the final means they can't switch off too soon...

He's got a face like a ferret drinking vinegar; makes Stevie Fulton look like George Clooney.

You could never imagine Halliday playing for another team - the archetypal Hun. He epitomises hunnishness in the sleekit sneering grimace that he habitually wears.

WOW! Funnily enough, I've never thought of them as 'an enlightened and educated people not trapped by the dictates of a foreign potentate'.

They usually come over to me as 'a bunch of racist, sectarian bigots trapped by their own deliberate distortions of 17th century history ...'

He comes fraom Lanarkshire. That figures.
