    The pyramd

Interesting moves afoot with several of the 160 odd junior sides about to commit to the Scottish league pyramid and the junior organisation as a whole about to discuss moving en masse.

Anyone following it / or have any opinions on the pyramd set up as a whole?

Can only be a good thing in my opinion. However I do think there has to be criteria for ground requirements for the upper leagues as there probably is now.

This is the problem. Some of these clubs are more than happy with the set up they have and are now going to be forced into spending money they don't have to. Falkirk being denied promotion season after season is a prime example. There are a good few clubs already with decent sponsors, players and fans that are probably better than some lower leauge teams with local businesses have sponsored and help to build and maintan a good community club. Chat through this way is that they are being put in a position they don't need to be and were more than happy with the progress they were making without interference.

Who can blame them with the farce of a set up we have to contend with.

I see what you mean, so it could be better for say a club to win the East of Scotland league, highland league or whatever, rather than a 6th tier league and be denied promotion anyway. Think that is what your saying?

Pretty much that. Obviously some clubs will have the infrastructure in place to step up without much change and will see it as a great opportunity.

Spartans won the Lowland league today, they’ll play Cove Rangers in the play off.

    Winner plays Cowdenbeath.

Well done to Edinburgh City for staying up again 👏
