    Paul Hanlon

How much has he grown in to the arm band this season? I'd let him keep it. The last two games he not only has been his usual classy self at the back but he has scored and set up goals. That pass for the third last night, had Allan or Dylan made it, we'd be going on about their skill and vision. A very talented centre half made it. That's even better. Watch it again if you get the chance to.
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

His tackle in the second half bailing out Darren just inside our half last night was tremendous. He's doing on the left what Efe does on the right. Both really do push up to help Lewis and Boyle.

Best centre half in Scotland. An absolute shocker that he's not had a cap yet. A Hibs legend and one whose testimonial I'll happily attend.

    Spot on.

I commented at the time that it was reminiscent of the famous Tam Forsythe tackle against England.

    Mick Channon?

I think what held Paul back in the past was his confidence. Under Lennon he's been a new player. He's always been defensively very sound, but now he's added more of an attacking role to his game and what a change.

His forward play has been impressive this season, last night and setting up Scott Allan against the Gunts immediately spring to mind.
