    Keats

At Ibrox today with the Hibs fans. He may be a man of many clubs but he's one of us now. Clearly enjoyed himself

I like him as a player, good to see him enjoying himself on the right side of the city. Another Hibs legend.

This annoyed me a wee bit when I read Keats was there. But not for very long,he's a cup legend. Not as nippy as a random bunch of Germans getting Ibrox tickets.

Would he not have got tickets from the club or more likely from a current player?

Of course I understand why you are pissed off. It happens though.

For example, how many times have Bouncers on here got tickets for The Groningen guys that come over for cup finals, away derbies etc. I know I have helped out in this regard.

The boys from Frankfurt have been following Hibs for 10 years (so are not random as such) and this is the first time tickets have been an issue.

Also, the 14 tickets for them were bought online in the public sale using the season tickets of our mates and kids who were not going to Ibrox, so we got lucky in that respect, otherwise their trip to see Hibs would have turned into a sightseeing tour of Glasgow.

Why didn’t they come over for a home fixture?

It does happen, but that's not gonna make me feel any less annoyed at missing out. I think I've had a beer with these boys post match before, all seem perfectly sound and it's great they make the effort to come across for games. Obviously Ibrox is an attractive option too.

But when you put in the hard yards over the years, closing your shop early or missing wedding anniversaries, to see non regulars at home let alone away get a brief it sticks in the throat.

Won't happen next year, I've resigned to the fact I'm buying an away season ticket.

Great day. Well worth the hours spent among us all getting tickets online.

It is unfortunate that some home and away fans will miss out but Id blame Hibs for accepting less than 2% of tickets when we could sell double that. We will be gifting the Huns their usual 20% for years to come. “It’s always been like that eh”.

Thankfully the tickets went to proper football guys spending a lot of hard earned money coming to watch Hibs each season who often help good Hibs fans to get tickets for games which are sold out easily over there. They’ve also been to Inverness, Dunfermline, Motherwell etc etc

Nice to meet good Hibernians in the harp Saturday night.

True. Shame the club don't seem inclined to take on Sevco on various topics. Wonder why, eh?

Anyway, I've had my moan about the German lads. No hard feelings, sehr gut!

That's the real issue. Be nice if supporters reps took this on and got a positive outcome but that would be a ridiculous proposition.

Just sit and listen to 3500 visiting bigots sing their songs nothing to to see or hear folks....

To think they two idiots (sorry I've concluded after how they answered my question on sectarianism when visiting ER that they really are) think it's us as a support with songs to change....

Well done for helping sort it for them, a weekend trip they'll remember forever I'm sure. I think we all get Southfield's frustration but that's the reality of what happens when the team is doing well and there's a demand for tickets. It's not that long since the days when we couldn't even sell out our paltry allocation for trips to Glasgow so really the club can't win as I imagine these kinda things tend to get decided months in advance and you know both Celtic and Rangers can easily sell 98% of their own ground every year. I would like to see us reduce their allocation for Easter Road to a comparable number - that would be about 380 or so I'm guessing.

They limited the AST numbers this year. Also gave existing AST holders the chance to renew ahead of new ASTs.i wonder how many will continue with it. It's n expensive business but it guarantees the Bus Shelter and other places.

No doubt we will find out sòon enough. March is usually the renewal month for STs...

I'm confused. German Hibs fans, Scottish Hibs fans, American Hibs fans, etc....but Hibs fans non the less. Why be pissed off because they got tickets? Did you wait to late? Love that Hibs has a world presence. Let's not be mad at that.

couldnae agree more, its great tae see. Dinnae forget the Dutch Hibs Fans.At the end o' the day they didnae get tickets fae the club therefore denying "real" Hibs fans the chance tae buy them, they got them fae "real"Hibs fans that were just as entitled tae buy them as anybody else GGTTH

Have they been in touch already to gauge interest for next season? I doubt demand will decrease, given how well the team have done in the league and folks experience of getting tickets for tynie and Ibrox in particular- parkhead seemed to be straight forward? Same for Aberdeen, dundee,Hamilton etc

Small allocation and lack of loyalty points system are the issue really not the German visitors

I don't know that they will increase the amount of ASTs from the ceiling of 350 from last year. The limit was put in place so that those who complained most about loyalty points still had a chance of going to Mordor or Celtc Park if they fancied it.

There's not 350 AST holders yet. It's just below 300 iirc. So there may be a scramble. All id say is don't leave it too late as it was first come, first served for new ASTs in the last 2 seasons

I wonder if a Bounce collective could be organised where non AST holders could buy the tickets not being used by AST holders on any given week,no-one ends up out of pocket.....

Its a good idea and it works, whether the club will find a reason to make it difficult, well that is another thing.

Great idea but whether hibs would allow it or not is a different story, knowing them they’d shut it down before it started

How could they when a director openly did this for the derby? And told folks it was none of their business

I've not done it because I have been at every game in the two seasons it's been out but my eldest has done it a couple of times due to work commitments

There's not much demand for Ross Co away though

Pondering taking this on up and down in a day driving. The detour to Forfar for a bridie adds a bit to the drive, but it might be worth it..

Did it in a day last time. Left before 7am. Pit stop in Aviemore. Pub lunch in Dingwall. Back down with another pit stop in Aviemore. Was cracking weather all day. Pub lunch outside in a beer garden with temperatures in the early 20s.

Ross County promises to be a great away day in April (fuelled by cheap match hospitality).
Might also be a topless Welsh based Loon on show.

There 99.9% will be if he's not launched out quickly.

    Sneckie overnighter then follows.

Subject to TV not picking that game of course.
