Big Dave gone also - OFFICIAL

    Termination agreed.
With 3 forwards away now we must have a free agent in mind.

Kamberi, McLaren and Shaw are left?

Delighted that Emmanuel-Thomas costs were too much. No interest in signing that type. Had it all when young and then on a steady downward spiral since the big money was rolling in (see R Vine career path).

We are short up front...definitely need another striker in.

Fans still think in terms of 2 out and out strikers on the park as the norm. Not every manager does though. Last night we saw Lennon's favoured 3 pronged attack formation with Boyle and Barker outside a single targetman. It works. With Swanson and now Allan as alternatives backup Lennon might feel he's got enough fire power up front. Its a big risk though. An injury or 2 and we're in soapy.

Totally agree - by way and far our most effective shape.

I agree with that, I just think we need four strikers in the squad and we certainly need experience up there which we now don't have. We face a very demanding four months in which we will be in a battle royal with Hearts for fourth spot. I just wish we looked better equipped with more experience up front to cope with this challenge.
