Interesting that no Stokes at all, does anyone know if he has picked up a injury?

    - - - Updated - - -

Just noticed there’s a few first teamers missing.
    Its Liam Henderson to deliver...
And David Gray has scored! The captain!
Hibs are standing on the brink of history!

Be good to see how Murray and Shaw together. Happy seeing McGregor, Hanlon and Gray on same team sheet. Also interested to see how we perform with the midfield...Marv holiding and hopefully allowing Dylan and Super to roam free. Very interesting line up

0-0 HT. Hibs had ball in the net by Murray but Shaw was judged offside just before.

It would have been nice to win but it's no biggy. Willems goals were scored after both McGregor and Hanlon came off.

Whats the story here? I'd have expected to see Boyle, Swanson and possibly stokes get a run out, they all in trouble?

Gutted to hear Sir David Gray taking an injury to ankle? He's had not luck this season there. Do we need to get a right back?

They were all out playing pool and having a drink or whatever.
They were told to be done by 12 (dunno what night it was) they stopped drinking but stayed out the whole time.

Stokes did same thing before league cup final when team went away to Marbella . But Lenny hardly creating good example pissing off back to Glasgow for a Celtic luv in and arriving back just before ko.

Gray's injury sounds a potentially serious one, possible ruptured achilles tendon, left the ground in a protective boot. That would be a season ender. I hope he's okay.

Sorry to hear about David Gray's injury. If he is out for the season let's hope he can recover properly for next season. Still our best right-back in my opinion.

Kind of defeats the point in having a winter break to play a couple friendlies a few days apart, to come back and have a hectic schedule but hey ho.

seems we were doing ok until all the subs were made.

sad to see SDG injured again and I fear that if it is a season ended that today could’ve been his last game for us

I see Motherwell have a friendly away to NEC Nijmegen who their fans have a link with, wonder if Hibs will ever revisit idea of playing in Groningen, be a great trip.

Rodders was asked about this in Arnhem a good while and denied knowing anything about it which was absolute rubbish.
Big G could give details of a recent attempt made from the Groningen end that also came to nothing.

We could learn a lot from the club that started the European career of Luis Suarez and had Robben, Huistra, Van Dijk and The Koemens as youngsters. They regularly unearth gems from Scandinavia and further afield so would be good to share their knowledge on scouting.

Would also have been a lot more interesting opposition than Sunderland for the Lewis testimonial....

I tried and got nowhere a fair few years back. Reckon it is time we got a wee home and away thing going with our brothers and sisters in green over the sea. Great fans, love the Hibs, so much in common, its mental the club are so 'unaware'.

Truly sounds that the higher archy running the club are stubborn and won't entertain ideas brought forward by the fans. Just have to look how long it took to get a $#@!ing crest up.

When was the initial idea by Hibs? Why did we not follow through?

Going by the first half of the season, if it was a one year deal, probably wouldn't be offering him another contract.

A good opportunity for @traceyhibs and frank there.

Not sure what you are asking?

Hibs and Groningen fans have backed each others club for 15 plus years, regularly. No just cup finals and daytripper pish like that, but away games to Aberdeen or home games v Twenty Intheshade or indeed last minute arrangements to get seats for FCGroningen fans who came over to see us play Killie the other week.

FCG as a club would love to formalise the bond between the fans and the clubs, it makes perfect sense, its not just Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord in the Netherlands, just like its no Thellick and the Huns over here. Hibs lack any iniative and dinnae respond to suggestions from FCG, their Fans or ours, what ever they say to deny it.

Its poor, it could be brilliant. As someone who has been over to FCG with lots of fellow Hibbys, they make us more than welcome, indeed its carnage!
