    St Mirren v Dundee Utd

Big win tonight for Saints. United really can't afford to stay down another year...
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

United faltered at the same stage last season - they lost the biggest game of the season and never recovered as we pulled away with relative comfort. I feel St. Mirren may do the same, especially if they keep Lewis Morgan until the end of the season. United have made some big name signings which can’t have been cheap, failure to win promotion could be disasterous for them.

Jack Ross has done an incredible job at St Mirren, completely revitalised them. United's big name signings really haven't produced so far this season and our Scottish cup legend Fraser Fyvie sadly has now got badly injured and is out for the season. I think United have the strongest squad in that league but too many of their players just haven't delivered. It will be interesting to see how this goes after New Year.
