Looking at the calendar year only, who'd be your PoY?

    Boyle the most improved?

Couldn’t argue with that. The squirrel has come on leaps and bounds under Lennon. He has been incredibly consistent too.

It's Marv for me. Most improved Boyle. Strangely I think the best player on our books is Dylan .
    Can't even agree with myself!!!!!

    But if it's a vote
    Marv

John McGinn - since he returned from injury against Dundee United on the 6th of January he’s been massive for us. The driving force in midfield, and a player who keeps improving and adding to his game. He was the Championship player of the season, and has taken to the Premiership with ease.

Martin Boyle is a close second, his improvement has been excellent and he is now a key player.

John McGinn or Marv for me. Squirrel is much improved but his finishing lets the rest of his game down.

Super John has been pretty average for a couple of months now I think- based on his own high standards.

Was always doubtful whether Boyle could become a regular starter but he's stepped up this season

Dylan is the best footballer at Easter Road, really hope he signs a new deal

For consistency it's hard to see beyond the left side of defence in Hanlon and Stevenson

Tough choice, think i'd go Dylan.

boyle is what we all pay money to see, someone who get erses off of seats.

mcgeough player of 2017/2018 - but any criticism of boyles shooting could also be leveled at mcgeough.... he can run rings round player 40 yards out but never even trys at 20 yards out and rarely gets a shot away.

hanlon still improving too - 2017 has seen the big fella in the box too and unleashing some shots.

but boyle all year long - his attitude is brilliant - body on the line with some of the knocks he takes - and if it doesn't work 9 times then it might work the 10th - if he had a young keith wright hanging in the middle of the goals for his crosses hibs would be demolishing teams.

Sums it up for me. Boyle will be the match winner in our next three games

SJM is the easy choice, Boyle finally got a chance to flourish.
But for me, Paul Hanlon. Almost always mentioned on the just backs for his performance and just his confidence and on pitch maturity has come on leaps.

Dylan is technically the best ball player at the club, possibly, but he's barely kicked the ball all year.

Boyle has been the player of the season so far, but over the latter part of last season, and when he is on his game, SJM has had a few just back mom's
    and desevedly so.

Several contenders which is always a good sign.

John McGinn for me who's game has stepped up a level for me this season. He looks stronger too so kudos for the work he's put into that.

Respects to Martin Boyle who has improved his game significantly and to the consistency of Paul Hanlon, among others.

Most improved, Boyle certainly, joy to watch when he's in the mood but for me it's Paul Hanlon, the rock at the back, very rarely lets us down.

I'll go with Simon Murray. I know he's having a bit of a lean spell but i love the attitude and work rate.

Most improved, Boyle. If he makes another step up we'll do well to keep him. He's almost unplayable.
