Early rise for dafties and diehards...

    Or just daftie diehards.

Lunchtime kick off in the land of the sheep. What a sensible thing in mid December, eh?
I don't know how many of us will head up the road in the morning but anyone who does deserves a medal. Or a hot pie. Or 3 points.

The game is important in terms of keeping our European ambitions on track. It doesn't matter how we do it. We owe this lot after their daylight robbery at ER. Boy do we owe them.
You'd reckon Lenny might freshen things up. This will be physical. They are physical. So expect Olly gone and the likes of Bartman back in.

I'm on the Just Back but it won't be until I am back, early evening. However given the game is on the telly box we will no doubt have plenty chat on here until then.

Pack yer long johns and yer Hibs bawbags, folks.
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

Never an easy game and I'm hoping that the past two big occasions in the last week won't have taken too much out of them, certainly a danger of that, both physically and emotionally. A point would be a great confidence booster again.

Thanks for offering the Just Back after a long winter journey, J, appreciated.

Given Taties update, I have left my works Christmas do early and curbed the peevage to ensure an early start tomorrow.

It's Hibernian away after all, it's what we do.

    Missing AGAIN.

On the bright side I would be £60 or so down on an 'away ST' with the cash going to rivals.
Would be pretty miffed at the Sheepies getting my cash when I can't be there.

Look forward to the 'Just Back' and may even get a wee looksee at the tellybox transmission.

Have a great day - and watch out for the speed cameras.

Seemingly cold and cloudy but not now snowing.

Pavements are apparently ice rinks though.

On the wireless news the police are asking people not to drive in the Aberdeen area following a large number of accidents on black ice.

Be extra careful all the driving dafties.

Been snowing in the Blue Toon, and it's freezing. Strong North Westerly wind too. Classic weather for the South Stand at Pittodrie.

Cold again tonight, so take it easy heading south . No hurry. Edinburgh will be there no matter what time you get back.

I am parked 5 minutes from the Hibs end. It's 3oC, the paths are treacherous but the roads are fine if you stay off the side streets.

It's never a 3-0 game, but we've effectively given two away and haven't threatened once.

    Very, very poor.

game over, Ambrose and Marciano need dropped, Marciano loses goals on his near post far to regulary. Cant cross a ball either, our set peices are atrocious.

We've lost some confidence and look tired. That's not the whole story though, we've had 3 shots in 45 mins which is abysmal.

It was always going to be a very difficult task facing the top three times inside seven days. Hibs were unfortunate in the way the fixture list worked out and they must be drained after the midweek defeat.

It was always going to be a pivotal week in the season for Hibs and they have been found wanting when facing this very difficult task.

Feel for the travelling fans for at half time it would now require a Lazarus-like come back to retrieve anything from this game apart from a little pride.

Shocking first half. Didn't look good on tv at all.

Nowhere near competitive and don't look up for a game at all, sleeping.

Lennon should have a look at himself. This team has been pish for over a month now. Even the game we won, we were awful and won cos of an own goal. Lennon is hero worshipped and for what? Making a bit of a meal out a championship that any of us could have won with no Rangers or Hearts there.

That was embarrassing watching Mackay-Steven waltz past two Hibs defenders while they basically stand there appealing to the referee with their arms in the air as he went in on goal unimpeded for the fourth.

The match on Wednesday has, it shouldn't but it has had an adverse affect on the team. On the day Aberdeen way ahead and much, much better, fair result. We are where we should be in the league and should now put all our focus into staying there, first season back we have done well but we all need a dose of realism second or third was never on, fourth or fifth is .

There's quality throughout this team but we don't score goals and we're soft at the other end. We've had a tough run in a short period so I wouldn't be too downhearted but this is where Lennon had to prove his worth. Can he make this group of players score goals and stop leaking easy ones over the next month or two?

This will be our first away defeat since March.
These three games in 6 days against the best three teams in the country was always going to be hugely difficult and so it has proved to be.
Hibs should have got at least a point on Wednesday night against the huns whom we outplayed and we ended up with nowt. Then we play a team which has finished second for the last three years on their own turf only 2 days after after the Rangers game.
Absolutely ridiculous run of fixtures which any team in the league would struggle in....and that's not an excuse it's a reality of life.

A poor performance and result today but Hibs are ahead of schedule in our first season up. A top six finish would be satisfactory. Anything more than that and we will more than have exceeded realistic expectations. I think we will be in a battle with Hearts till the end of the season for fourth spot.

    Spot on.

all round $#@! performance today, set pieces need worked on in training as does defending and not being greedy $#@!s on the ball constantly, its a team game. Need a striker by the looks of things, can we really rely on Stokes or Murray?

mckay stevens has a history of playing well against us, you'd think we'd do something about it after all these years.

Actually signing him would have been the best thing to do about it.
