If he's back in Scotland it will be in a Huns jersey. He's probably on close to £10,000 a week. Neither us or the Gunts can touch that.

Borrowing clubs don't always pay all of the loanee's wages I don't believe?

The the Rangers are flush with money?

That shower just pay on the never never. They got away with going bust once, what's to stop it happening again? Scottish football needs them remember. #hunfuckpigs

My understanding is JC has no intentions of coming back to play at club level in Scotland.

I'm sure you're right mate. Forest might have other ideas though.

Actually, for a few years they've loaned anyone decent out to Notts County.

He always said if things didn't work out at Forest he would find another English club.

With Rae being at Preston and he always liked Jase and rated him he could end up there.

We were just talking about the prospect of a loan, not a move.

I maybe see it through different filters, K. I think it would be much easier (and beneficial to the player) to come back to Easter Road and hit the ground running in a place and with people he's familiar with.

Generally speaking as I appreciate you may be talking of elsewhere, I am intrigued to understand where the idea of him going to the Merricks actually comes from? There seems no basis in it at all. It just appears to me to be one of those happenings that someone's imagined/feared and has grown legs to almost become an internet 'fact'. I don't see him going there at all. The the Rangers possibly (sadly).
In the main because he's a very good player that out with Celtic any Scottish club will have an interest in. And because he has historical allegiances at that club. He may look at it as unfinished business at the club his pals and family support under a different regime to the one that emptied him? And also because as we all know the Tynecastle hierarchy have one function and that's to keep them believing that they ARE the BIG team. They'd love to get him ahead of us....

Being serious Hibs should try and get him back on loan in January.

From Jason’s perspective a return to Scotland (regardless of which club & type of deal) will send the message out to Championship clubs that he can’t make it down there, effectively ending his career in England before it really gets off the ground. Bear in mind the already low regard with which the Scottish game is viewed down south, he has to stick it out and not come back up the road at the first opportunity.
We wanna be free, we wanna be free to do what we wanna do, and we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time... That's what we're gonna do

Regarding Cummings, anyone have the number of goals scored in games he's started for Forrest? If I remember correctly I thought it was rather decent?

Hear what you're saying but it's mostly conjecture (just as my opinions are). There is really nothing concrete to justify these rumours he might go to Hearts in particular and they feel a bit cringeworthy to me. Not long ago we were lauding how much he had it in for them and the way it showed when he (regularly) scored against them. How things change in a few months in football.

Historical allegiances? He was was with them when he was a kid and they dumped and deserted him in the worst possible way. He now has far more history with Hibs. He's as daft as a brush but I think he will understand who truly buttered his bread and it wasn't them.

I don't think for one moment he would go there due to 'family support' or pals. He's a professional footballer.

Sure that mob over the way would love to sign him in front of us but then I'm talking a loan move not a permanent one. He clearly would prefer to stay in England and forge a career here
