    Slivka replacing John McGinn

Nope, no, nae chance, not a hope.

Sorry he looked as lost and confused a Jambo on a winning streak. Good player, nae John McGinn, he was simply dreadful in a three today. Lucky for him Dylan and Marv were good, and Boyler ad Lewis gave them an out ball.

Personally I am surprised, Ihad great hopes for him.

I agree he was pretty poor mostly today but think he needs a decent run in the team before he can be fully judged. Have seen signs there is a player there. We absolutely missed SJMs drive, energy and range of passing though. As an aside he showed himself as a class act again before the game coming into the stand and spending a considerable time signing autographs and getting photos taken with many a Hibs kid. What a guy!

I thought he got himself into some good positions but we were always looking for Dylan with the ball. He did seem off it though, maybe he needs a run of games to get going, but with all due respect I hope he doesn’t get them anytime soon as the other three work so much better together.

Disappointed to hear Slivka had a poor game today...to be honest he hasn't impressed me much at all since he arrived apart from that fantastic winning goal at Ibrox. I just wonder if bringing these two Liths to Easter Road is just a gamble that hasn't paid off. There's still time I suppose, but I just had a hunch that Slivka would have been brought in to replace McGinn since he was given a three year deal. I know it's early days yet but at this stage it just doesn't look like it's going to work out.

1 game. He was really good against England and is 22 I think fingers crossed . If he was Scottish people would agree he's one for the future. David silva is utter $#@!e next to mcginn, hard comparison bro.

I think we need to give him [game] time, hopefully it wouldn't mean the regular absence of SJM!

New team, new country, new lifestyle, youngish laddie. More than happy to give him more time.

I think he lacks confidence, which given his lack of game time recently is understandable.

Didn't play particularly well today, and will never be anywhere near as good as SJM. I wouldn't write him off just yet, but never a direct replacement for John.

He is a very different type of player. Plays better when we are afforded more room, less so against the combatative sides. Has a good range of passes but lacks the drive and physicality of SJM. Disappointed he hasn't really grabbed his chances yet - yesterday was an opperchancity to stake a claim.

He's needed time to adjust, which is not surprising maybe.

He's had one good game on a Hibs shirt, as others have said not enough game time.

I'd agree with that. In and out team won't help but disappointed me yesterday. Has talent just needs to learn about Scottish fitba.

NL said he was very pleased with Slivka...

As others have said he is a completely different type of player to SJM. He's shown some nice touches, holds the ball well but needs a consistent run of games in his best position. I hope there is more to come from him.

He needs time to adjust to our game, game time is a must for him really. He's got ability, we've seen flashes. He's definitely not in McGinns mould though.

I actually thought he was brought in to replace McGeouch. But Dylan is getting over his injury issues and will hopefully sign a new deal soon, so I dunno really where that would leave Slivka.
