Are Hibs playing today and is anyone going?

Just wondered like, as no one has posted on the Hibs general thread since the back of 2 yesterday afternoon?

I will be there with No 1 son and Nephew, looking forward to it.

With no McGinn, I expect to see Slivka slot in? Not sure Mr Stokes will start, expect pretty much same team as last week bar Super John.

The Lost Tribe of the Good ****s are having their Christmas Soiree in Tennents (sp?) in Byers Road for those with a thirst and an ear for the Glasgow Brogue (the accent, not New Town shoe of choice).

    Anyone?

I’ll be there. Flew up from Bristol last night, can’t wait! First league game of the season. Staying with a mate in Partick and soon to be going on a tour of the local hostelries. GGTTH

No from me. $#@!tails & nachos at half 1, Grassmarket pub crawl then a 2 course dinner for tea.

I'll be checking the score periodically but TBH I'll be using .net and twitter for info cos, as you say this, place is barren come matchday. Sadly.

Hope the Hibees do it big style for the travelling support

With John McGinn suspended I also expect to see Slivka coming in to play the central midfield role...I think long term this was the reason he was brought to the club, to take over from SJM in that role when he leaves. The problem is we haven't seen enough of him yet to see if he can justify the confidence being shown in him by the manager. He needs game time to get himself more accustomed to the Scottish game, and he certainly needs to show more than he has done already if he is going to properly fulfil our hopes for him in the long term. Stokes will play IMO. We really have to move on now after his training ground altercations with the manager...we have too many big games coming up to have any sort of negativity hanging over us...and Stokesy is a big game player whom we are going to have to have at the top of his game during the month of December.

Like all the games in this league it will be tough and I would be happy with a draw away from home but I'm going for 2-0 Hibs

Don't think it's sadly at all. There's normally a huge percentage of Bouncers home and away and to be fair they're there to watch the game no keep us slackers up to speed.

Half time thoughts might be nice if any of you can drag yourselves away from yur pie!!!

Eh? Wasn't talking about peeps at match giving us updates. I was talking about what the OP kinda implied. You wouldn't know on here about Hibs on a match day, as less and less peeps are even bothering to comment about the actual game. And for a forum about Hibs and the fitba then, Yes I do find it kinda sad.

Have you experience for this type of role - Customer Complaint Manager | Huntswood CTC Limited
Huntswood do a lot of larger scale contracting roles in financial services and also Utilities complaints.
Not the best contracting roles but good starting point/gap filler etc.

    Half time up date:

    Good points

    Massive Hibs support again

Darren is back and playing like he has never been away

    Paul is Brilliant

Dylan is the metronome as ever

The rest just are not doing it fir me.

There are 100s of kids on the pitch at half time, reminds me of that day in May.

    Negatives

We should be winning, they are gash. We are not really looking like scoring.

Their mascot loooks like spongebob on drugs.

I'm going to make the point again that I believe that including Official Hibs Feed posts is a nuisance to this forum. I can only speak for myself here but I check out the Bounce by clicking 'New Posts' and the results are absolutely dominated by Hibs Official posts, As I write approx 13 out of 25 threads. It was more the last time I checked.

It means that our posts about Hibs and other topics fall off off the end of the page or have to be searched for by sifting through the numerous Official threads. They need excluding from the 'New Posts' search in my humble opinion, if that's possible.

Yas full time! Back on track, 2 ahead of the huns and 1 behind Aberdeen albeit having played a game more. Still worried about our ability to convert chances however

Enjoyed that! Defence looked solid with Darren McGregor in there, should’ve been 3-0. Bit shot shy at times? If Efe’s mazey run had resulted in a goal....

    I agree. Will remove them.

Hibs are standing on the brink of history...
They've only gone and done it..
They've only gone and won The Scottish Cup.

Thanks for asking Stu. I find them nippy as well as i use "new posts". They are 9times out of 10 of no interest

Yep, I think they need to just sit somewhere out of the way. People can refer to them then but they seldom ever post on them. Would be better to have a page full of threads that you could potentially feel interested enough to post on.
