    Reasons to be cheerful.

We head towards December sitting in 3rd and right amongst the pack vying for a European slot. A couple slip ups, a couple shady performances but over all some results to be very happy about. Who would have thought that we've been gone for 3 seasons. Some great players have joined the team and others are really starting to shine and come onto their game. With plenty time to grow further Lennon has got us bang on the right track.

Crowds are at a high and continullay looking for more from each other on match day to add to the buzz. ER is becoming a feel good place and the post/pre match bars are buzzing with fellow Hibees, its great to see local businesses also thriving on match days. Hats off to the singing section for effort they put in on match day and outside to come up with ideas to bring a spark back to the club. We have a lot to be smiling about within our own club.

    Onwards and upwards GGTTH.

Correct. It’s a great time to be a hibee. Manager driving us on and a team that seem to get what being a hibee means. Brilliant

I love the passion the manager and players show.

I'm delighted with Hibs progress - and Neil Lennon has completely changed my opinion of him.
I think possibly a little bit of that is because he has changed a bit too.
He's good for Hibs, and being part of Hibs is clearly good for him.

Hail! Hail! The Hibs are back!

There'll be a few clubs a tad concerned. Those around us vying for that Euro slot that in previous seasons they probably had a decent shot at. One will likely miss out.

Someone will miss out on the more lucrative top 6 place after the dafty split. Possibly the gunts which is quite pleasing, although a double edged sword in missing a derby.

At the other end of the league someone is going down as hopefully we will never again be embarrassed by relegation.

We are getting stronger every month.

I'm another one extremely happy about the progress the club is making in many areas on and off the pitch. This feels like a real resurgence in Hibernian like I've not seen since i can remember - from the guts of the club. Attendances are astounding, the club feels entirely more professionally run and the previous, slightly frail, nature of even our better sides appears to have been replaced with a winning mentality and a confidence I've not seen in a long time.

Credit to all - not least the fans.

December is a serious challenge this season, we'll get to see exactly where we stand this month coming.

That said, Im delighted with Neil Lennon and for the most part, how we play football.
I'm over the moon at how we don't have that selling team feel anymore. Despite there being real possibilities of players leaving.

It's definitely a much better time to be on the right side oh f edinburgh.
Firmly believe the only way is up for us over the next few years.

I love going to Easter Road for nearly every game now and so glad I moved back home. For me Lennon is more articulate than ever, recognising a good performance but not afraid to chivvy up when required and refused to sell McGinn for a pittance.

I think our expectations are high, and rightly so, that's why the defeat against the likes of St Johnstone hurts bad. Looking forward to get Daz back and being able to use Danny.

I’m shocked at myself to be honest.

Not usually so forgiving, and previous meetings we weren’t exactly besties.

I much prefer watching an excellent Hibs team away recently, none of the moany wife/ husband beating manic depressives, but fans chearing the team on, having a good day out, watching better fitba, SUPPORTING THE TEAM, a better approach from Neil, open opposition, cheaper pies.

Its been the case for a wee while now. Last week, long before we conceded a goal, my laddie said he couldn't wait to get back on the road this week and next. For much the same reasons...
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

If that is the case then there is something wrong which needs to be put right very quickly. I think it's great we have done well so far in away games this season, but the fact is that the vast majority of Hibs fans only see Hibs play at Easter Road and we should be doing much better there. 13,000 season ticket holders...a club record. Highest attendances for years. Teams should be absolutely bricking it coming to Easter Road and the Hibs fans should be seeing Hibs at their best there...attacking, creating chances and scoring goals.

Hibs have had a very good start to their first season back and I agree with Neil Lennon...we have exceeded expectations so far. Our home form and subsequently our results at ER are the thing which has let us down this season. We have to improve in our home matches because we have failed to convince so far this season in the very place where we should be feared the most.

As we go on the road and get better than we do at home away teams come to ER and get better than their league form suggests!

    Weird!

Bit harsh and unnecessary on home support. But as title says reasons to be cheerful, each to their own if that makes you a happy hibee.

I reckon a lot of away fans are enjoying the trip to ER also. Away days add a different blend to to the mix.
