my feeble arsed attempt at loading a pic didnt work

there's a screenshot from keechback doing the rounds, basically saying the Gunts havent beaten us IN ANY cup tie at home for 51 years

According stats, only 3 Scottish Cup ties have been played at Tynecastle, since they last beat us 2-1 in 1966, and since then we have won(1971) and drawn 2, this year and last.

Piles the pressure on them big time as they see themselves as the Scottish Cup kings ... but they havent beaten us at home in 51 years

these puddle drinkers love a stat to themselves, so this gives us something to set their seethe levels at beelin'! Game on

Wee historical footnote: when we skelped them at Tynie in 1971 the scorers were Arthur Duncan and John Hazel. Rowntrees were still producing Duncan Hazelnut chocolate bars at their Powderhall Factory at the time. Several thousand were on display in Leith playgrounds on the Monday after our victory. It was a sweet time!

Another fact.....the only Derby game that I have ever missed in several decades (1964 was the first I can remember attending) was in September 1970, still making my way back home rather stoned from the Isle of Wight Festival. Missed a 0-0 draw at ER apparently ..... however I had witnessed one of Hendrix's last performances, the Who performing the whole of Tommy, a magnificent set by Free, The Doors, Miles Davis, Sly and the Family Stone, Terry Reid, Leonard Cohen, Taste, The Moody Blues.

    No contest.
