Aberdeen seem to find investment as reported yesterday another tidy wee sum they have received. Ok we may not be champions league material but the Europa league is definatley a strong possibility for us to reach.

    CLUB'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

On 29 December 2014 the Club announced that it was free of bank debt, having reached a settlement with Bank of Scotland, and that the holding company had agreed to capitalise £4.5m of the Club’s debts. The Club’s indebtedness to the Bank at 31 July 2014 was £6.3m and the amount due to the holding company as at that date was £3m. If the transactions announced on 29 December 2014 had taken place as at 31 July 2014, the impact would have been to increase the Club’s Net Assets to £19.4m.

I think the bank debt was mortgages(On the stands),How did we get into a position to owe STF and Rod £3m though?

How do you know it's not went up in value in the last ten years. The redevelopment of east mains put up its value . As rod Petrie told me. Also, at some point club will try get land rezoned. As housing developments start to get closer to that part of East Lothian

I'm not going to bother further with this discussion.

    It's entirely pointless.

I am sure the land was bought with future planning in mind. Geography, house shortages and brown envelopes would increase value. Push for the land to be available for building, get permission and value increased substantially. Stf is a wheeler dealer.
STF is 77 years old, and very wealthy. I really struggle to believe his strategy for hibs at this point involves speculative land deals.

It was bought 10 years ago and I doubt his appetite for a deal has dissolved

    Not in so many words.

It's shown that over the period we made £500k on players in and out.
