    SFA leaving Hampden

    Firstly - good!

Secondly, how the hell can they consider taking matches to Ibrox? The Huns are gunning for the SFA and most of their bigoted fans either boycott the national team or prefer to follow England.
Furthermore, the place is falling to bits. How they get a safety certificate is anyone's guess.
Having said that, maybe the SFA will do up their stadium for them in order to suck up to the Hun support. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the thought process, after all, Scottish football needs a strong Rangers doesn't it?

Cup finals? Ibrox or parkhead? That would be mighty close to game over for me...

I mean, I support the idea of taking the national team 'on the road' to Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Inverness. There's other countries do it so it makes sense to expand the fanbase. But to suggest the two $#@! clubs of Scotland should benefit rather than spread it around tells you all you need to know about the footballing authorities priorities.
Even the super duper world's greatest stadium over the city (aye, I know) is more fit for purpose than Ibrox, even before their seats go in.
    Game's rigged, why bother?

Ibrox is included in considerations because the SFA is full of $#@!ing Huns.

If every ground comes into consideration depending on the fixture then we should do it,spread the cash around the various clubs.

I'd love Huns v Celtic at Murrayfield just to piss off the residents nearby

I don't think the SFA have any intention of leaving Hampden, it's just a negotiating position to get a favourable deal on the new lease.

12.15 KO just to make the huns and tramps more pissed off at having to actually travel to get to a cup semi final/final.

I always think it must be hard being a Queens Park fan or player in that stadium. Miles and miles of empty seats can’t create much of an atmosphere.

For a fan going to a game, the single biggest problem with Hampden is the infrastructure - it’s dreadful. Parking is $#@!, public transport is $#@!, and no effort is made to accommodate 50,000 people descending upon the housing estate it’s located in. That alone is reason to leave, and neither of the other large stadia in Glasgow are any more accessible.

Murrayfield, while not a purpose built football stadium, does at least have decent transport connections from the city centre, but is probably too big.

Other than building a new fit for purpose stadium, we’ll be stuck duh the same old $#@!e.
We wanna be free, we wanna be free to do what we wanna do, and we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time... That's what we're gonna do

Them leaving would cause issues for Queens park financially.
Might ruin the club. According to the dude on the radio the other day anyway.

That's not a reason to stay though Hammi so I hope they do decide to move.

I think they've held the SFA to ransom for long enough.

Saying that as an observer from the side lines.

I genuinely don't care where Easter Road West is, I follow the Hibees.

If it was up me and I hate that club, I'd see a national stadium at Falkirk or thereabouts. But with the national bit as the dominant partner.

A by-product might hopefully be that the overGlasgowcentric dinosaurs would refuse to travel and die out.

Can’t say that would give me sleepless nights.
I would get pissed off if this was another avenue for diverting cash to Rantic though.
