Much as it pains me to write this................................

The moaning fat hunfcuk probably has a point, although he got the SuperJ has played his last game for Hibs bit spectacularly wrong.

I think he is being very disrespectful to a fellow player by singling our Shinnie - a player that would walk into most squads in Scotland.

I agree with him about Coutts at Sheffield Utd though (and I’d say his teammate Fleck has been overlooked too). Ignoring top performers in the English Championship seems odd.

Shinnie is good, he'll probably not play left back for Scotland given Tierney is young and pretty good, but I think Shinnie has done enough to merit a call up. Being able to play in midfield also helps his case.

There's been plenty dead wood floating about the Scotland squads in recent years, time to get rid and give others a chance.

It's a friendly match...this is the time to try out new players and see how they cope with international football.
Scotland don't have a competitive game for about a year. Not really sure what point Boyd is trying to make. Of course they are going to select Aberdeen players to try to get a bigger crowd, but they are also overdue a try-out and they are there on merit. They play for the second best team in Scotland, it would be more of a talking point if they weren't included.

Boyd is right on the Aberdeen selection, it's to try and attract the locals, but it's only a friendly so why bother moaning about it.
On the other hand we had the Chief Gunt Levein, while Scotland manager, selecting Ian Black to play at Easter Road, not to get bums on seats but to wind-up all the Hibs fans there to watch.
    Game's rigged, why bother?

From what I witnessed at the City Ground watching Forest v QPR last Saturday Scotland really, REALLY need to take a look at Barry McKay's form. If I'm being honest he was simply brilliant at times in the home side's 4-0 rout of the R's and picked up the MOM award. A great display of good old-fashioned wing play.

I'm told he is regularly on top form too and that this was no flash in the pan. Even if Forest's nob head manager substitutes him monotonously regularly on around the 70-minute mark.

I think he is too, excellent. The second time I've seen him this season and he's been terrific both times. Very one footed but has a willingness to take on players and has very fast feet. Quick thinking and very dangerous when cutting inside on the left.

I`ve always believed Barry McKay to be a fine player and now he`s no longer a scummy hun $#@!bag, he can play for Scotland as much as he likes.
I started out with nothing and i`ve still got most of it left.
