    Hanlon again...

That 2nd half was absolutely majestic. Ram Scotland, he'll get a game for Holland next week with that rampaging driving performance. And then wee Lewy said I'll have some o' that anaw, and off he went up and doon that wing flying tae! The pair of them were brilliant and really look like players that know what is needed to get us over the line. Fantastic chaps. Cheers.

Stokes was excellent. The 3 of them up that side 2nd half were a joy to watch. Up close too, cos that's where I sit. Entertained I was.

Lewis had a hard game until their wide player went off, in fact he had a mare up until then and cost us the goal imo. Much better there after and as always 110% effort.
Paul Hanlon was class, up against a difficult and physical opponent and won hands down even finding the time to be our best attacker for a spell in the 2nd half.

Agreed the post match chat in pub with mates who sit half way up in east to the view I had on west, for some of the game was pretty mixed.

Overall we won and bonus was meeting Simon Murray in pub in town before grabbed this train. He laughed at me saying he would chase an crisp wrapper on a windy street and said that just how he is. Loves the Hibs.

Hanlon had a very good game, but Martin Boyle was my MOTM.

No supoort from Barker. A hard shift but that player rinsed Whittaker at Dens. Completely.

Goal was a free header. The cross could and should have been defended but a free header is not on.

I wouldn't say Lewy cost us the goal at all my friend. What happened was he was up against Rory Deacon, a player that excelled against us not only yesterday but in the game up there too. As Sk11says he ripped Whitty big style. I was thoroughly impressed by him and it was a good thing for us that he went off. But it wasn't Lewy' s fault that they scored with a free header. I'm a positive type of guy . And I prefer to remember the good things that our players do. Especially when they do their best to drag us over the line. To victory. Huzzah!

Just seen the highlights and I’d say Lewy done his best the boy was just too quick and strong for him. The problem as others said was the free header, which is down to the centre halves and being on the back post efe should’ve been picking the boy up

    That's how I saw it.

Lewis was outmuscled a bit - sometimes that can happen - but he was definitely not 'at fault'.

If anyone was culpable at all, then I reckon Efe is the one with the ridder.

From a Hibs point of view we can look at it and say yes, maybe we could have defended the cross ball better, but it was actually (a) a very good bit of play from Deacon and a superb cross and (b) a well placed header from Habur.

There was maybe a split second when lewy first went in and he could have just put the baw into the east but he tried to win the ball back for us and as a few have said after that it was strong and clever win play by deacon

    Hanlon again...

Reckon that’s the one & only time I’ve seen Lewy outmuscled.

Harsh to blame him for the goal though, cross could and should have been defended better. We won though so it doesn’t really matter now anyway.
Seems like there's a hole in my dreams, or so it seems
