Beaton, fatigue and one super save...

Of course, we will get the Just Back from @jock3 but in the meantime...

What an outstanding save from Rocky in the 2nd half. A match winning save.

We were definitely tired today. We worked so hard at Killie and Motherwell. Bound to catch up with us. They did so well to push through that today.
Hope the injury situation is not too bad.

    Beaton was downright awful.

    Dylan appeared to pull hamstring.

On another note, stokes lucky to stay on park after kneeing their guy in the nuts👀

I thought the 22 tried to get Stokes sent off?

His shorts were so short he deserved to be penalised for crimes against sportswear

To be fair it was only shown in real time on Hibs TV.
No replay. My initial instinct when stokes approached the boy was that he had used his knee.
It looked like that from the Hibs tv angle.
As stokes moved in he appeared to lift his knee at the same time the guy collapsed holding his nuts.
It didn't look fake. I'm certain stokes got the guy in the knackers

It's a Wee sack punch, definitely a red card imo.
The guy did make a huge deal of it, but Stokes did it.

Not a knee by any means tho.

The OP is spot on match saving save, two great goals and credit to NL for making the changes early, what a prospect we have in young Porteous. Let's keep it going and get a bit of distance from the Huns and coming for Aberdeen, with our squad in depth, young prospects and best management team we have had for a long time....Why no.

Neil Lennon disagrees in his post match interview.

Something along the lines of 'if we had a game in Tuesday we wouldn't have a full branch's 'only 15 players fit' something like that.

Im certain you've probably read Bartley and Boyle on social media. Both desperate for a rest. And rightly so.

Yep. We had some round us yesterday moaning about effort and fitness. Clearly weren't at any of the away games of late. Anyone at Hampden or Motherwell or Kilmarnock would know the gargantuan effort put in to those games. They're super players, a super group but they're not yet super human.

A wee break and let's go again. The players deserve it.

Stokes certainly slapped the lads bawsack, most in gentlemanly. He also creates a wonderful winner.

Spot on. One of the reasons I was so pleased at the final whistle yesterday was the satisfaction that we had seen through not only a tight game against Dundee where we lost three players before half-time, but also that we had successfully negotiated against the odds 12 points from our last four league games including a derby win and all this within a short period of time. We have achieved this whilst dealing with injuries to key players and several players carrying knocks. The players deserve massive credit for their efforts so far this season and they also deserve a break. This international break has IMO came at a welcome time. Hibs still have momentum, unbeaten away from home all season and playing with style and confidence, but this break will give our injured players a chance to properly recuperate before we go again against struggling St Johnstone at Easter Road in a fortnight. I'm hoping Danny Swanson and Darren McGregor will be available for selection, and possibly Whittaker back fit again along with Barker, Gray and Dylan McGeoch.

First thing I did when Murray scored (apart from cheering) was to check the linesman as I thought it had a hint of offside about it. Thankfully no flag was raised. Looking at the highlights I think he was just onside when Stokes played that great ball in.

I thought that it was a well timed run - just like the Stokes goal that was disallowed but never offside.

Was there footage of Murrays disallowed goal at Motherwell last week? Didnt look in doubt to me but I was behind that goal.

Beaton is a hopeless referee, but that hardly makes him stand out in a crowd.
Was he not a pretend cop in a previous life? Some sort of 'comms officer' who presumably translated 'You're nicked Sunshine' into some sort of miscreant friendly jargon. I think he went on to do a similar gig with students, translating real life into some $#@! only students and referees understand.

    Whatever, he's a fud.
