    Neil Lennon Won Us That

Lennon won us that game with the subs at half time. The change in shape let us control the game in the 2nd half after being overrun by Dundee in the 1st half.

Well done, Neil. Enjoy your bottle of red tonight, it was well earned!

Formation change changed the game and probably the outcome.

I was just going to start a thread saying the same thing
You have to give lennon credit for making the changes to go to a 3 5 2 in the second half although the injury to Dylan basically made his mind up for him but he could have put slivka on and went like for like and waited
    I'm glad he didn't.
I'm sure lennon will be glad of the international break coming up tho which is not usually the case when you're side is on a four match winning run but the amount of games we have played the last couple of weeks or so are starting to take its toll and I hope there's nothing majorly wrong with Dylan and I wouldn't mind seeing SJM left out of the Scottish side next week either

Agreed. What a difference that second half was to the first half.

It was my brothers first Hibs game in a couple of years, he had not been impressed with the first half. I told him at half time, dinnae panic, Neil will change the way we play, change the formation and make the necessary subs. He did and I though Hibs were fantastic to watch second half.

    Excellent fitba management Neil.

We definitely improved after halftime. First half we were really poor after a good initial 10 minutes. Lennon really had to change it but change it he did.
There was never a great deal between the teams and it often resembled a school game for me, back and forth. really entertaining if you were a neutral to be honest.

Stokes. Hanlon and Slivka made the difference for me, assisted by SJM when he got his second wind. You wont see a better save than Marciano's on 48 mins, world class.

Neil Lennon did probably win it for us, well done to the players too for turning it around.

Good interview and surprised to hear him say that stokes goal was onside? I must admit I didn't have the best view of it and actually thought that hanlons shot/cross was going in anyway. Anyone else have a better view than me or seen it on the tellybox that can maybe let me know if he was on or off?
Also good to hear lennon praise the fans and let us know that we really can pull the team out of a dip and make a real difference to the game
Take a bow lads and lassies and take some pride in helping the side to the three points today 👏👏

I know some fans haven't taken to him, but IMO, he's the best manager I've seen in my time watching Hibs. Yeah, he makes mistakes, but it's clear he sees the same game we do and as today showed, not afraid to make the big calls.

The longer we can keep him the better.

Love his winning mentality. I do think though it's too easy to assume Lenny is all about 'Getting them telt'. I think he's a very cute manager who is much much more about man management of each and every player.

Think Garry Parker deserves credit too.

The changes were forced on him by injuries, but he would have had to have changed the formation anyway after being outplayed by Dundee in the first half so he deserves credit for that. We played much better in the second half with three at the back. Stokes was fantastic in the second half. I was concerned that we had been forced to use up our three subs so early on leaving a clearly knackered team to plough on for the whole of the second half. We did very well to see out that game, and a great deal of credit should go to Rocky for that wonder save which really was the turning point in the game.

Good point smurf and I must admit I said at half time to beefy that lennon will be in their getting thum telt but it's as clear as day that lennon is also a good tactician and no doubt he can get the hairdryer oot when required also

He was bold in his changes and recognised what wasn’t working. Excellent management.

I watched his post match interview and he looks really happy with the way things are.
