    HIbs v Dundee build up

    Team and formation for tomorrow
I’d go with the same formation as we did when we played the Hearts.
However I expect a few changes in the team, David Gray in for Whitaker Slivka if SJM is injured??
Our away form is very good but we still need to get more points from home, I expect Dundee to sit in and try and hit us on the counter but we have more than enough quality to beat them imho.
    3-0 Hibs Big G??? 😊

Whittaker was on a good wee run but Sir David came in and provided 2 assists. Decisions, decisions...

McGinn will get his rest/recup in the 2 weeks after tomorrow.

Same team as Tuesday, nae tinkering and 3 more please.

    March on.

Could do worse than play Whittaker if SJM is injured.

I’m pretty sure we played a diamond on Tuesday night, I’d rather we went back to 4-2-1-3 like we did when we beat Hearts, Barker at the top of the Diamond didn’t work for me although we did win 3-0, the score did flatter us though to be honest

I too think we should go 433 - two wingers, make use of the pitch and boss the midfield.

Provided McGinn & Whittaker are fit, the only decision is Gray or Whittaker. I wouldn’t start Stokes or Swanson if they are back to fitness.

Dundee habitually field a team consisting almost entirely of right-footed centre halves.

Set Squirrel down our right wing, and swap back and forth with Barker to give him a breather and we will stroll the game.

I didnae think Barker was at the top of the diamond, he was wide left hiding more often than not. If anything SuperJohn was there, switching on occasion with Dylan and even Boyler?

I would be happy with how we set up at Motherwell, we were excellent. Even Barker should keep his place. They can all rest after tomorrows game.

Tomorrows game provides a very different sort of challenge to the ones we have faced in recent weeks. A derby takes care of itself, and we then faced two very tricky away games which potentially could have seen points dropped but we have both won. Most people expect a home game against the bottom club to be easier than those games before, but there are no easy games in this league. Dundee may be bottom of the league but they are a proud club with a decent support and McCann will want to stop the rot as quickly as possible. I always worry when we are playing a team who have lost their last 4 or 5 games because they are not going to continue losing. Really hope McGinn is able to play. I think Dundee will set up to try to stop Hibs playing and to try to push back our two wide players. they will try to get a goal and then contain us. It's all about Hibs attitude and how we start the game. Get the first goal and hopefully another soon after and we should win. For once it would be nice to see us establish a decent lead at Easter Road and see out the game. I think it will be tighter than many are predicting.

    2-1 Hibs.

SJM is fit but Danny Swanson is likely to be out with Steven Whitaker having a late fitness test.
Think this game is gonna be tough, Dundee are desperate for points and will dig in if they get an early goal.

Spot on. Let's hope nobody underestimates the task in hand. Or simply turns up demanding the 3 points without a fight.

Bain being out is great news for us, unless forced on us by injury we shouldn’t change the team too much as why try fix something that’s not broken. If we can get another 3 points it will have been a brilliant couple weeks with us really starting to stamp a bit authority on the league. Also wouldn’t be too unhappy to see us absolutely hammer Dundee and see them sack that wee $#@! mccann

Great start but it just fell away, midfield where awful in that half.

All subs made by half time, Lennon trying to change it before it goes south.

Really weren’t at our best but certainly didny help with that wank in the black trying to make it all about him, but 13 point from last 5 is a great return going into this international break that’s coming at a good time for us I think
