How are you getting to Hampden this weekend?

Relatively unusually we are in the percieved Hun end at Hampdung this weekend coming? I suggest getting there sharp as there you need a good 15 minutes to sanitise your seat as that Hun stink clings, bigoted intolerance can last 300 plus years I have found.

I am taking my Mum to her first Hampden semi, she is a 70+ year old Hibby (although she disnae look a day over 60) who only recently decided that listening to us on the radio wisnae enough. She is bringing her domestos wipes, green marigolds, and a mum sized packed for Fabreeze, she hates the Huns like her sons do, she finds them repulsive.

Because the Boss is coming I am not Bounce Touring it, I am taking the motor to make the journey a bit easier for La Jefita. I plan to park in the Thellick end, I want her to understand that poverty is still rife in Scotland.

How are you getting there and why?

7.30am megabus get through about 8.45 then round the corner to a couple of pubs in West Nile Street.
Roll on sausage lets you have a drink early can't remember the name of pubs, usually plenty Hibs about them.
Let's do them at our second home!!

Unless , in the highly unlikely event that I hear of a bus passing the kinross area with a few seats, then it looks like I'm driving .
I don'tt know if I've ever been in Hampden totally sober .

Apart from the time I done the tour , which dosnae really count .

15 minute drive from my front door to Mansionhouse Road, site of what used to be the Boswell Hotel. Meet my Dad and various others and wander down Battlefield Road to Hampden.

No booze but perhaps a wee macaroon barrrrrr or spearmint chewing guuuuuum!

Interestingly, I am taking a long route for the six mile journey. Got a bit of a do on the Friday night which left me plenty of time to drive to Kilmarnock for the 3.00 kick off

Only thing is that the night out on the Friday is in Carnoustie and I now have to get back to Hampden and somehow parked up for the stupid 12.15 kick off.

I am not a morning person

Was thinking about going by train but I imagine there will be plenty soapies doing the same thing. At the SC final in the Huns end we drove and found a parking spot not too far from the ground, so will do that again. I think I drove around the city rather than get off at Polmadie.

I think we need a picture of the babysitter you are going to relieve before we can decide whether you're living the dream
