Oh I've missed pat mcginlay, his late runs and knack of scoring was a joy and I cannot think anyone has ever got close to his tally

In my head in still swithering 442 or 433 and that's holding me back. Latapy is a stick on

    Boozy

Never saw him play but Stanton must be a stick on, along with Latapy. But then there’s Brown and SJM...Pat mcginlay version I was awesome...

Tough choices here, much harder than defence. Spoilt for choice..

Murdo and Cormack were left mid. Zoomer tight mid. I'd say Latapy never played centre mid played in the hole.

Luckily there are 11 on your list so we can just pick them all Cormack played as emergency goalie in a game if my old memory isn't letting me down. How to choose...Dylan is out for me if that's any help.

Left sided, right sided or in the hole, it's not an exact science as formations change, players play out of position and/ or a range of positions. Here was me waiting for someone to query the inside right on the list.

We had Gary Smith on the poll as a right back to compensate for the massive centre back list. Zemmama isn't touching the sides of wide right in this team. It's as much a Gary Smith nod as anything.

I was going to have him on left flank nominations? His counterbalance Crunchie on the right flank nominations list.

You could go John ONeil though
Right flank is a killer. We know the winner but the nominations will be frightening. Ditto the forwards.

KT needs to be in there imo.
    Its Liam Henderson to deliver...
And David Gray has scored! The captain!

Alex Edwards has to be in there...one of the best Hibs central midfielders I have ever seen.

@Dub and @Greenpower and @SKII, for me Cormack was always more oldskool inside left than real midfielder. The amount of times he ended up on the end of an E Stevenson cross at the back post says to me 'Forward'.

PS top of the pile, Edwards of course, some would even argue O'Rourke.

Recent times Thompson in his pomp, Broonaldo... ach fúcket, Stanton , Stanton , Stanton and Stanton.

Probably. But maybe more on potential than actual achievement? It was obvious how good he was going to be, but injury meant we'd never see how good he could be I think.

That’s very true. Him and Brown should have been the national teams midfield partnership. A real shame.
