No concessions other than the $#@!est seats behind the goals? Outrageous. Purely cos they know the ugly sisters will sell their allocations almost regardless of price.

Does the SFA decide the ends at Hampden for semi-finals/finals, or do the clubs have any influence?

Clearly it has been widely accepted within the Scottish game that Celtic and Rangers have an end, and by default get that no matter what (not something I agree with), but how did they decide the 2012 final, or the Dundee United V Ross County final for example?

The reason I ask is that if there is a precedent of discussion involving the organiser, the clubs and (probably) the police for the arrangements of other finals, why not all of them?
We wanna be free, we wanna be free to do what we wanna do, and we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time... That's what we're gonna do

No really. Betfred Cup: Ross County 3 - 1 Celtic | 2016-01-31 22k for Celtic v Ross County.

Huns only semi-finals since they died were against Celtic. We've no idea how many they'll sell. I'd guess less than 25k. I'd also be unsurprised if Celtic don't sell half the stadium against us.

Not even that as an excuse then. Just a thoughtless greedy decision

Tell me as an against modern football activist you won't be watching it on Sky or BT Sports instead.
    Tell me you aren't please.........
    Go on, tell me.

I dread us reaching semi finals or finals as there's so many internet fans treated terribly with astronomical pricing and ridiculous kick off times where the majority of moaners will have to leave their houses at the ungodly hour of 10 or 11am to make kick off following a mammoth (less than) 50 mile journey.

Another couple of welcome excuses for ****s to use as to why they aren't going mind.

Indeed. Thank $#@! we're not playing in a similar tournament at Wembley.

Like most folk who go to these things I'll only be watching one team.

The cost of the tickets, or at least the difference between that and a standard match, is likely to be the least of the overall expense.

North Stand is £30 or two quid dearer than watching Hibs V Celtic at Easter Road even if it is live on TV. I agree that Scottish Football is overpriced but, all things being relative, the Hampden prices are not out of line.

I think the adult prices are fair, the crime is that kids can only sit behind the goals with some of the worst views in scottish fitba (excluding the away end at Thellick Park and Cowpenbeath).

I agree the adult prices are fair enough. It's the lack of concessions - in key areas of the ground and of certain types. Nae concessions for anyone in full time education over the age of 15.

Every SFA game is the same, they dont care about young fans (or the parents that pay), only money.

I’d suspect Celtic would have agreed lower prices. I’d further suspect it’s the rangers who want them pitched as high as possible. Those face painters won’t pay themselves.

This is the SPFL but no difference in pricing. So is it the clubs?

I’ve had a quick trawl through https://spfl.co.uk/docs/067_324__leaguecupregulations201730june_1499765115.pdf on my phone but those rules seem to explicitly avoid semi final pricing?

One for the fan reps to get an explanation why there are no concessions in all areas. Seems to be a common question/gripe among fans. Over to them as I'm sure one or both will be aware by now.

    This is the SPFL.

And Motherwell will do well to sell maybe 15,000. So giving the Hun the chance to sell more is actually beneficial to Hibs.

Don't expect any team to sell their full allocation. Celtc maybe.

"SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: "We are pleased to be able to announce the information for this season’s Betfred Cup semi-finals, following agreement with all four clubs and other parties involved, including our valued broadcast rights holder for the competition, BT Sport.

“We are all looking forward to two fantastic games and hope supporters of all four clubs enjoy lots of entertaining football.”

Ticket prices for both games will start at £25. Full segregation and ticket pricing details specific to each semi-final are as follows............. bla bla"

The above is from last years game, but suggests that the SPFL set the prices after consultation and gaining agreement from the clubs involved.

I think we'll do well (pardon the pun) to shift 15k. As for Motherwell-I'd be amazed if they get near the 10k mark.

*Just checked season ticket numbers for Motherwell and the most up to date number I found without digging too long was 3.5k
