Celtic End/Rangers End

Can someone explain how they decide what end the fans go into.
I know the hampden ends have their old firm names but surely as home team in the semi its Hibs who should be able to pick....
Or do we have to have a new Sir David Gray corner at the other end

SFA will no doubt stick to traditional way allocate ends.Hopefully hibs pushing we get east stand which is easier to access from Edinburgh

I'd like it we pushed the issue however we already know the answer. It's pathetic that in this day and age the old firm still get given "their ends"

In England they’d toss a coin. But in this two bit banana republic we know that it’s decided around rangers and Celtic.

The board and the fans reps won’t address this.

But; I think we need to be clear - what is our preferred end? East or west? I prefer the south, but if I had to choose I’d go east. What about you?

Mate I'm not interested in what's better or not better for us. It's $#@!in outrageous that in our National stadium we have ends of it that are a given home end for two clubs. There's NO neutrality.

It's been that arrangement at Hampden for many decades and it always will be ...they even talk about it and have a laugh about it on the Hampden stadium tour which I have done twice now. It is a joke but it is yet another example of how the Scottish game revolves around the Old Firm and just how much power and influence both clubs have.

In fairness Asda is vintage likes but the trek either way fae buses has been harsh either end we've been in 😳

It is partly why Scottish football is where it is. It's very unhealthy.
I've done the stadium tour as well, the tour guide said a few years ago, Sevco were given the East dressing rooms for the 1st time ever.
Can anyway pinpoint why?

Logistically speaking, if a team from the West is playing a team from the East,the team from the East's fans should should be accomodated in the East side of the stadium.
This is consistent with the Scottish Government's plan for reducing carbon emissions. Therefore, if we want the East side of the stadium we should be lobbying MSPs rather than the old firm sychophants who run the SFA.
