Lennon has achieved so far what he needed to achieve by guiding Hibs to promotion last season and he was very unlucky not to guide the club to another Scottish Cup Final as well. We have made a good start to our first season back in the top flight winning our first two games before being given a reality check last week against Hamilton. He has strengthened the squad, so hopefully a decent first season back lies ahead. With all that in mind he deserves a new deal and no doubt a pay rise. Hibs need continuity in the managers seat so it really would be a positive sign to see Lennon committing himself to the club for a few years. It also means that if he is head hunted by a bigger club and he wants to go we will be well compensated.

For all NL's faults which in reality is not many, this would be another boost of confidence that we are moving forward.

He has won over a lot of doubters including myself.

    Good news.

I think it's accepted the manager churn in recent times contributed to our downturn in fortunes and a painful but interesting recovery.

Anyone know off hand what the life expectancy of a recent Hibs manager is?

Since snore Miller who's lasted longest?

I think it's McLeish....arrived in February 1998, left for the Huns in November 2001.

Have to confess I've completely changed my mind about Lennon.

    Delighted he's here.

    Not really.

That's his 'official' leaving date I assume. Doesn't allow for the several months he was being tutored by Advocaat and taking wages under false pretences from Hibs.
He's still a hunfcuk Judas $#@! in my book.

(That's my book of folk I dinnae like. It's a big book. )

We just need McGinn to sign a new deal and we might be into the best off field start to a season ever.

He's earned a few extra quid and it'll reinforce what him and Hibs have said, he's here to play in the premiership.
