Hibernian have a number of players out on loan across Scotland to gain first team experience – here’s a round-up of how they got on this weekend.

In the Ladbrokes Championship Sam Stanton played the full 90 minutes as Dundee United defeated Brechin City 1-0.

Callum Crane started for Alloa Athletic as they won for the first time in the league this season, with a 1-0 victory over Queen’s Park.

In League Two Cowdenbeath lost 1-0 to Montrose, with Ben Stirling getting a start for the Fifers, while Lewis Allan came off of the bench for Edinburgh City in their 2-0 reverse against Stirling Albion. Sean Mackie was an unused substitute for the capital side.

Kevin Waugh and Callum Donaldson both on the bench for Berwick Rangers in their 5-1 defeat to Annan Athletic.

Jamie Gullan was on the scoresheet for Gala Fairydean in their 3-1 win over Stirling University, with Adam Watson also playing for Gala.

Elsewhere Kane O’Connor appeared twice for Scotland U17s in an international friendly competition. He captained the side in a 2-1 defeat to Italy on Friday, and started on Sunday in a defeat to England by the same scoreline.
