No desire, no composure, no concentration and a system that didn't work...

This, I hope is the QoS moment. The one where we lose at home with little fight, poor individual performances all over the park and bewildering lack of oomph. Hopefully, like that game early last season we will respond properly next time out.

We badly missed the Squirrel option. Our midfield were not at the races. The formation for Mordor wasn't right for today and it backfired...though I am sure Lennon will argue that had our players all done their jobs we could still have won with any formation. Hamilton are ordinary but they worked harder, wanted it more and worked as a team.

Efe had a full game of being the dodgy Efe twin. Dylan? His batteries obviously had not been put in. Nae tick, nae tock. Silence. We didn't trouble their goalie and really never challenged their defence.
Too far away to be certain if it was a pen. It doesn't matter. We got what we deserved. Nowt.

The MotM must have been a case of draw a number out of the hat.

Terrible showing today. 5 at the back, at home to Hamilton.
Too busy trying these balls for Murray to run into instead of giving anyone the ball.

Wasn't impressed today at all. I can imagine Neil is completely losing his $#@!.

I thought it was a pen from where I was, Daz put his leg out and made a needless challenge. Can't believe how bad we were all over the park today don't think I'd give pass marks to any player. Agree with the formation being totally wrong, every time they came forward they were cutting us open the back 3 were all over the place.

Saw Neil thrashing a water bottle towards the dug out, so much was his frustration. Was a vey poor game against a team we knew would come to stifle us, and I must say Hamilton done their job well. Can't see many players getting pass marks today and way too many passes went astray. One nice moment when Brandon flew down the right wing. Never stayed for our goal so didn't see it. Hopefully we learn from this.. Bartley might have been useful in midfield had he been available. Oh well, might get a few supporter's feet back on the ground, it is a long season and much to learn.

I walked up today and was told there were only seats in the rubbish South Stand. There were plenty seats left in the east what happened there? The foul for the penalty looked a close one and a soft one. Lennon threw on all three subs to no avail. Hamilton were dogged but I was still surprised how bad we were compared to the Partick game. I agree Squirrel was badly missed and we didn't seem to have a wide option. I like Whittaker, but what's the story with Davy Gray? The second goal was our own doing really. A sore one an a bit embarrassing to be honest.

I agree with nearly everything that Bouncers have posted. But I'm still trying to get straight in my head where that mindset change came from, even allowing for Hamilton's tactics.....

Just forced myself to watch the highlights. We were unlucky not to score first half. It was a penalty for Darren's trip though the Hamilton boy made a meal of it. I wonder if Daz is carrying a wee bit extra bulk - he seemed behind the pace a bit.

Why change the team today, Swanson was awful but he wasn't the only one, Stokes, Efe, Whittaker, Stevenson all terrible in fact shocking. Silvika should have kept his place, players and NL getting caught up in all the hype for it to come crashing down by $#@!ing Hamilton!!

We take this on the chin and we move on and learn from it

What's wrong with the South stand?

Wonder what folk who were watching Hibs for the first time this season thought. Especially when they'd read the forums and were expecting Barcelona.

Best since Tornadoes, best midfield in SPL and Simon Murray for Scotland/far better than the Cumdog.

Still take 4th place but much more of that and we wouldn't get top 6.

Kick up the erse will do players well and Lennon will need to rethink.

Welcome back down to planet earth....

Gifted them a two goal lead. Watching from Hibs TV I thought it was a very needless penalty to give away. Second goal was just a bad mistake from Hanlon. After that it was an uphill struggle. I would have left Swanson on and taken Stevenson off for Barker. Not that Lewis was any worse than the rest of them, just his delivery was pretty poor. Just a bad day at the office.

People buy STs but about 10% don't go. Unless they release the seat it stays unused. Not the club's fault.

That Was absolutely awful. Hanlon's mistake for the second was like something he'd been guilty of 3 years ago. The team were just a disaster today in general.

I would have Sir David and Slivka starting next week if both are fit.

There seemed to be alot of empty seats again in areas that were supposed to have been sold out? Not just the East but in the North and West also.

Looked like complacency as Hamilton won about every second ball today. They had a work ethic and determination, both of which were sadly lacking in our performance today.

Not one outfield player was good today, absolute shambles from start to finish. Midfield was horrendous, McGinn, Mcgeouch and Swanson brutal.

Agreed. Sponsor clearly wanted to meet Super. Struggling to understand people saying they'd have subbed Lewis before Mcgeouch today. Nobody was good but midfield was the worst.

That was wrong. Horrible and wrong. It was a nil nil game though if we hadn't gifted them the first 2 goals. The set up was wrong. The desire was wrong. The tactics were wrong. Dylan far too deep, Efe and Hanlon thinking they're Beckenbauer. Whitty won't pass to the ineffectual Swanson (who never should have took Slivka's slot) Lewis trying (being told to) to be the winger that he is not. A huffy Stokes who moaned at everything but himself and an out of sorts Murray who had to deal with real $#@!e long balls at him. I mean really $#@!e 30 to 40 yarder $#@!e long balls. Why Daz gave that pen away I don't know? Stupid. McGinn? never play like that again please. You are so much better than that. Rocky sort your kicking out. It's been pish this season though he did make a brilliant save during the game.

As for the management. Totally culpable today. Sort yourselves out.

    Pah!

$#@!in wake up call Hibs. Use this defeat and vow to never let standards drop this low again. And never ever play like that at home again.
