    Hibs v Hamilton

how will we line up tomorrow?

not that easy to call with a bit of competition for places, do we need three central defenders at home to Hamilton, not sure if Bartley is back..

    how about;

    Rocky

    Gray McGregor Hanlon Stevenson

    McGeouch Slivka McGinn Swanson

    Stokes Murray

be a bit harsh on Efe, Whittaker or whoever doesn't start after winning at the hunnery..

I don't think that there will be any personnel changes to the starting 11, however Whittaker and Lewis will play more advanced roles

If one of the CB are to be dropped then for me it would be Efe. Hanlon and McGregor are our best 2 IMO. Efe is technically the best but has taken 15 mins to settle/concentrate the last 2 games.

I hope you're right as I have money on Whittaker to score in a 3-1 win.

Same team as last week. Can't see Lennon ever dropping Efe, unless he's had a real stinkers for a few games

With the personnel at his disposal, it may be NL takes a 'horses for courses' attitude?
    Ever play this game chief?

For me Hamilton will sit in so you need as many ballers on the park. Only change for me is Swanson in for big daz. Kills me to say that as I live daz. He's a warrior but don't think he's needed for games like this.

I think you are spot on. Can see Lenny tweaking things game by game. Great position to be in.

Efe's problem is that he has a tendency to switch off at times during a game and that can be fatal when you are a central defender playing at this level. He is a very good, strong defender and confident on the ball but you are right he needs to be totally focussed from the start. I think Lennon will play three at the back whenever possible this season and Ambrose will play regularly. Lennon rates him highly.

Every game in this league will be tough for Hibs including this afternoon's game. Hamilton on paper have the weakest squad in the league but they have overachieved in recent years given their resources by staying for four consecutive seasons in the top flight. They are a plucky, hard working team who fight for their corner and have a few players who could cause us problems including Ali Crawford, a player I would like to see at Hibs some day. They will make it tough for Hibs today, and I would take any sort of win.

This. Why change the team. They won and should retain their places until form dips. It's tough on the other players but it's about consistency and picking up points.

Like watching a game from last season. Never mind, we'll get there in the end. Get Barker on. Game is crying out for a winger.

Tam McManus saying we've been awful on Sportsound. Thought these kind of performances were behind us, a wake up call if nothing else. Not as good as we think we are.

Aye. Maybe it'll stop some folk getting carried away. That includes the players if they were starting to believe the hype

Lost the battle and didn't have the desire when a couple of bad luck decisions went against them.
Not good enough when 30 odd minutes to play. Fair play Hamilton, dug in well.

    Next game Hibs.

We were poor. But Hamilton were actually impressive. Not playing Slivka over Swanson was a horrendous decision.

Need to win at Dundee or a good start on our return turns to an average at best one.

I didn't think Hamilton were impressive at all.
Third goal was very well worked but otherwise they were nothing special, and didn't have to be.
Our subs all played better than the starting eleven.

No spark at all from our midfield and the defenders were all stinking.

We were stinking today. Another case of a win and Glasgow and the hype has went to the teams head.

    Great finish, though.

The truth is, we were murder all over the park today. Pass marks for Roger, everyone else was $#@!e.

Naw Aggie naw... Whittaker was probably the worst of a bad bunch. Every time he got the ball it broke down. worst **** on the park imo. And that took some doing.

Think I might nip over to Gorgie Farm and count some Chickens before they've hatched

    Whitty was terrible.
I'm not sure he was much worse than the rest of the defence. But still terrible.
Had they played like this last week the The Hundogs would have gunned us and probably lorded it over the Gunts.

Midfield and attack were also $#@!.

Only good thing about the entire experience was all the 'leave earlies' who whilst missing a late Hibs goal at least made leaving the stadium and car parking a bit easier.

I meant 'gubbed' but 'gunned' is reasonable.
