Nothing beats gubbing the scum - and not just for Hibs but for the game and Scottish Society in general !

Anything that damages, hurts, impairs, impedes etc, etc them is a positive - it's infinitely preferable to that big, black cloud that gathers over the country any time they get a draw or worse, win !

They booted anything that moved with impunity. They were guilty of a fair dose of simulation too. A horrible mix.

What bottle we showed all over the park.

    McGeouch was immense.
Mcginn has the most influential arse in Scottish football.
Simon Murray...it is a joy to behold a player taking their chance in life
    Darren a man mountain
Efe the coolest man on the planet
    Steven Whittaker out-stand-ing!

I freaking love this team. Lenny is conjuring up something very special.
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

    Eh, naw!

Celtc are still immense in comparison with us and the others. There's no point in denying it. I'd take us at home against them but not over a season.

But we've got every reason to be optimistic beyond that.

We're undefeated in a whole 2 games with 9 months to go!

NL said second at the tail end of last season and I've never doubted we'll seriously go for it.

However games are running our for the opposition and we have drawn a line in the sand and in haka style said come and have a go.

To early to get the passports out but start saving up.

Celtc are immense? 1-0 against Partick - a team we beat 3-1 less than one week before? Plus Partick had a decently penalty shout poo-pooed by the ref in the dying minutes. We have nothing to fear from that shower of $#@!e.

Walking back to the car we had some Celtc fans hinging out windows or in their gardens shouting "praise" at us. For that read patronising pish. A couple of Hibs fans started singing "Glasgow Celtc we're coming for you" at them. Daft gits were totally lost...

Watching the highlights and Stokes should have been sent off...we'll take the break though as we haven't had many of them at Ibrox over the years. That's part of the package with Stokes. He is a fantastic player, but on the downside a bit of a hot head and volatile as well. As long as he scores goals in the season ahead we can't ask for any more. Once he is up to full match fitness we will see the best of him.

Hibs goals were superb..including Tavernier's OG which was a classic. We could have had a few more goals, but the Rangers could have had a couple more as well. Only down side for Hibs was poor defending for the crosses into the box for both Hun goals. Something to work on.

Great win for Hibs. There was a lot of pressure on us with this game and we seemed to handle it very well. Ibrox is never an easy place to go to and get a result. We have made a very good start to the season however we've only played two games so far. A different kind of challenge awaits us next Saturday against Hamilton at Easter Road where we will be expected to win. Hopefully a professional performance and another three points.
