    Mr Paul Hanlon

I have to admit I worried about his fitness and sharpness when I saw his name on the team sheet but what a professional performance today. Okay, there was the odd thing but by Sauzee he has grown in stature as a player.

    Good to have him back.

Now on to the selection dilemma for Mordor...Darren needs to come back in. Will Lenny go with a 3?
Hibs are standing on the brink of history...

They're both free from suspension now.

I'm wondering if he will go Lewy Whittaker Darren Efe and Paul?

I think SDG may figure on Tuesday but not necessarily Saturday...

Hope Marv is ok for Mordor too

Pleasantly surprised to see Paul Hanlon in the starting line-up today. A very good performance from him considering it was his first full match since early January.

I think we'll go for the draw but with every chance of striking out for the win. They're no great shakes as a football team but a 50k crowd will sway a compliant referee.

Whatever. I'll expect a thoroughly professional performance. If we offered them 1.75 points from the match I suspect they'd take it. Knife edge.

I reckon we will go to 3 at the back with Ambrose, Hanlon & McGregor all playing.

I was pleasantly surprised that he started.
By the end of the game I'd no worries about his general fitness but plenty about his match fitness. He was a yard off almost every tackle he made (or tried to make).
Good to see him back but on that performance I'd award him a 4 out of 10 on the Hanlon Scale.

Disagree with almost every word and that's having watched it back.

Also people on here 5 years ago saying he wouldn't make it Shannon so forum commenters including myself no f all. In my opinion always was the most talented defender we've had in a generation. Delighted he stayed with us in division 1 not sure he will if a great season this year

Think back 3 is a cert next week. Whittaker and Lewis full backs.

Main concern will be Bartley and his sore one. Dylan and SJM with Boyle and Murray and playing last 30.

Swanson the one to drop out if we go 5 at the back?

    Had actually forgotten about him

I can't see NOT playing DMac, so either Hanlon or Efe drops out and we keep a back four, or we play a 3 and and a forward comes out, which seems more likely given the venue.

Swanson and to come on for last 30 would be something

I think based on previously performances against Rangers we should line up as a 3-5-2. Personally I'd go for McGregor, Ambrose & Hanlon at the back. Stevenson & Whittaker as wing backs. Centre 3 of Bartley, McGinn & McGeough, with Murray and a fit Stokes up top. As he won't be fit you could replace with Swanson or Boyle.

I think we'll go to a back 3 of McGregor, Ambrose & Hanlon. Gray will come in at right wing back, and Whittaker will move into midfield at the expense of Dylan (unless Bartley is injured). Murray & either Boyle or Swanson will play upfront, unless Lennon feels Stokes is ready.

    Marciano
    McGregor Ambrose Hanlon
    Gray Bartley Whittaker McGinn Stevenson
    Murray Boyle

Reckon Murray & Boyle uptop next week WILL cause them nightmares. They are pish. Nothing to fear.
