See you up there Jack, hope to be in Dingwall about six. Wonder if they will open behind the goal or just give us that wee side stand

Seemingly roadworks at Perth and North of Perth. My laddie went up early yesterday as he's taking the chance to have a wee break up there as well. Took him 4 hours with a pee stop.

Got my ticket yesterday at their ticket office. Apparently we`re getting both. North Stand and the section in the East.
I started out with nothing and i`ve still got most of it left.

Good man. My laddie is an SNP party member and is also the MSYP for my constituency. I have a friend who is a local Labour councillor tells me his job's a nightmare, getting called out his bed at all hours of the night to resolve disputes that the polis should be dealing with. So I've been telling my laddie this as he cannie get out his bed during daylight hours never mind at night😂.

Not out yet. We're in a qualification place at present but further progress out if the group stage may need a 'best of the runners-up' points tally

We are going to find it very difficult to replace Jason Cummings goals. A fit and fully motivated Stokes will be a big step in the right direction but I really cannot emphasise enough that others in this team are going to have to step up to the plate this season and contribute their fare share of the goals. Tonight's evidence shows that there is still a lack of sharpness in the team due to it still being the middle of July, but the warning signs are as clear as day that we must improve big time in the last third of the park and get a ruthless touch. Penalty shoot out's are a farce so i' not too btherred about losing another one.

Still think we will get through in this group, but I think this new League Cup format is a joke to be honest. The media will hype it up as always but I'm willing to bet all managers and players would rather have straight knock-out format when the season has begun proper, or else just scrap the thing altogether.

Feel bad for the lad Shaw - he'll be suffering tonight.

Yes we'll miss JC's goals badly, but we really need to address the midfield. For a long time now the midfield just doesn't score enough goals. Hopefully Swanson can change that, but the team needs goals from midfield.

I thought Hibs looked good tonight. Just no end product. Chances were being created so the need for a clinical striker is clear. We could/should have won that quite comfortably tonight.

Swanson will get us goals, although we can't put this on his shoulders, more midfield players should be scoring more.

Reading a lot about missing Cummings and needing forwards in BUT we need to create more. Adding Swanson to the usual non scoring midfielders is not enough.

The new Lith midfielder doesn't look to have a great track record of scoring goals so hopefully the 3 players Lennon said he wants includes another attacking midfielder or even wide man.

Tonight was oh so similar to last 3 seasons. Plenty of the ball, plenty possession in the last third but looking pretty clueless at what to do with the ball when faced with 8 or so opposition players between us and the fekn onion bag.

    Anyone for Fyvie

Need a goal scoring midfielder and another 2 strikers. Swanson I don't think will score as many as we all hope. Majority of his goals last season was pens. Though a good addition to the team we must get it sorted asap

We are not out. It's a section format and we still have two games to play which we should win. Hibs will likely progress to the knock-out stage as one of the best runners-up in the group. It's a joke format though.

If he stays fit I reckon about 10 to 12 this season from midfield. He was one of the best players in the SPL last season.

Your right GM it is a joke format mate, but getting beat from Ross County isn't good enough.

All the tippy tappy stuff is nice to watch but its the same old not having a experience d clinical goalscorer that should have been sorted years ago. Graham is the worst striker I've seen at Hibs, sorry

Hibs will find a way to stop that, a goal scoring midfielder we just don't do .

Swanson will score goals for us this season I'm sure of it. He is a fine midfielder with an eye for goal who will be a big player for us as the season goes on providing he avoids injury.
We do need another goalscorer from midfield and IMO a wide player. A fit Stokes will (hopefully) be a huge asset to us. Hopefully Dave Matu will add some much needed power and aerial threat up front. A lack of sharpness in the last third was evident tonight from both teams and it's no surprise really when we are still in mid July.

    Thought we were good tonight.
Only our second competitive game and we look pretty good.
Few players still to come so I'm looking forward to the season ahead😀 GGTTH

Disappointing and unfair result in my opinion, which hurt after missing the first half due to a BT Sports outage. I guess half of Leith was trying to tune in at the same time! If that numbskull Chow had walked after that shocking challenge on Ambrose, it could have been totally different. Some superb play in midfield especially Super John. I don't think County were great shakes. Davy Gray didnae look too pleased on the subs bench but I'm sure he's professional enough to the take things the right way.
