    Pars v Hibs

limited in what changes we can make for tomorrow after fairly insipid performance on wednesday..

assume Shinnie is still injured and Gray too, would probably rest Holt

    something like;

    Rocky

    Efe Hanlon Mcgregor Lewis

    Boyle McGinn Bartley McGeouch

    Cummings Keatings

still can't decide who is worse out of Graham and Keatings, wouldn't object to Fyvie starting
    until the sky turns green

I'd swap Keatings for Graham myself

Going to be a very difficult match IMO...Dunfermline are the best visiting team I have seen at Easter Road this season.
A draw wouldn't be a bad result for Hibs and I think that's how it will end up.

    1-1.

As some of you may know I have a particular soft spot for the Pars.

A few of the ones I know well are worried about their home form, a bit like us.

    A tricky game. Hibs win.

1-1 full time. Dubious hand-ball for Pars penalty apparently.. (the worst rule in football IMO and the one I would most want to change if I had the power). Still struggling to score goals as has been the case for most of the time we have been down in this league. Good to see McGinn back on the scoresheet though. A win at Morton next week would be huge and should be enough to seal the title, that's going to be easier said than done though given our current form.

The need for a decent second striker is becoming clearer by the week.

Chris Doolan just scored his 100th and 101st goals for Patrick Thistle... The lad cannae be on the highest wages in the world at Firhill?

Doolan is a fine striker who I would take at Easter Road in a minute. His goalscoring record in the top league in what is an otherwise mediocre bottom 6 team is exceptional.

I agree we need far better quality strikers, and at least two possibly three of them have to be brought in especially if Cummings is sold. However as I keep banging on about we need far more goals from our midfielders and central defenders. As always with Hibs we rely almost entirely on one player for our goals and that is nowhere near good enough. It was good to see John McGinn scoring again today but for such an otherwise accomplished player he should be scoring much more regularly for us in this league.

It's like chinese water torture this

One step closer with Morton losing but we must be close to some kind of world record for least goals in the close out to being champions. Our inability to score is really quite something, it really is.

Another week closer to being champions.

Intresting week coming up with us and Falkirk both playing the toughest away games in league.

Looks like we are going to draw our way to the title 😀 Two home games against QOS and Raith crucial, four points would be fine. A win at Duff Jim's Morton even better.

The toughest away game in the league is St Mirren at the moment while Dundee United are now statistically the easiest team to play. Dunfermline have only been beaten 3 times since october last year.

The league table is completely unrepresentative of whats going on right now.

For me, a win at Morton next week and that will be it as far as the league title is concerned...as I said before though that is going to be very difficult.
