That's 6 in a row undefeated against that $#@!e. More to come the betting man would say.

Unbeaten since the 17th of Aug 2014 to be precise. TBH they just don't look like they can beat us anymore. Of course they have their 22 in a row 18 etc to hang on to. But the way it is going, who's to say that the Cabbage ain't on a mission to rectify?

From the 1/2/89 to 30/4 94 they went unbeaten against us. 13 wins and 9 draws. 9 draws that felt like a defeat every single time. A sequence was made.

These sequences have to start somewhere and when we hump them at ER in the replay that will put us on 7 and counting. Every non win for them is a sickening jab in the guts to them. God it hurts them. And it don't look like it's gonna stop. Magic!

Edinburgh, like the Scottish Cup, is ours.

I feel like there's a lot of hurting from them tonight! They aren't used to not grabbing a derby win so this spell is really getting to them.

Been a lot of comments about us "celebrating" a draw because - unlike their fans - we supported our team. Pretty sure they celebrated a draw like a victory back at Easter road as well so don't really have much to moan about.

Anyway long may this run continue

Aye, they've got some front! Was only recently when that lad Ozturk banged in a worldie with seconds to go, and from where I was standing they looked quite animated.

Best run (predictably) seems to be 69-79 with only one Hearts win (after the 7-0) and runs of 9 and 13 either side. But that might not be 100% right as the stats websites I've looked at seem to default to every match happening on one day of the year from about mid eighties so it's difficult to be sure of sequences.
    so what do I know

    they won 10/9/68
then we were 10 unbeaten from 1/1/69 until 1/1/73
    they won next fixture 8/9/73
then we were 12 unbeaten from 1/1/74 until 4/11/78

Nice one, thanks for that. Yeah I looked at Soccerbase (which used to be run from the desk next to me in the Mirror offices!) and another that I think is derived from soccerbase. Also found this one http://www.statto.com/football/teams...-of-midlothian
    so what do I know

I remember being at that game on 28th March 1979 at Easter Road and for some reason I cannot quite remember now, I had managed to get a stand ticket. We lost 2-1 with Gordon Rae scoring Hibs goal and from memory I think Dennis McQuade and Derek O'Connor scoring for Hearts. That was the first time I had ever seen Hearts beating Hibs since being first taken to Easter Road by my dad as a 6 year old in 1971.

I went through most of primary school thinking we'd never get beaten from them ever again. Glad i'm not 10 years younger.
