Why is it, how many has he scored since being here.

i don't know about you but I want strikers who can score goals and get us three points.

I know what you are saying mate, although all recent form goes out the windae. This maybe a good thing as the Gunts will feel confident after their last two games. Even their players are opening their mouths about the game. We have to go there and be in their faces, making sure we win the midfield as their defence are a huge liability to them.
Holt was fine when he came on. Plenty others to point the finger at before him. I hate saying it, but SJM for one. Keatings for another.

Holt was on bench. Came off bench had great game
I agree he did improve us when he came on. Shinnie was pish no idea how he missed that free header only surprise was he didn't try and pass it, he should have been replaced by jase at half time too! He can't start next week he's far too light weight for a derby.

half time and it's 1-0 utd

Lennon blaming the pitch? That's pathetic. Why did you yet again drop Cummings?

Sorry mate but the likes of Holt, Graham and Shinnie have done nothing to improve us.

When you look at Stokes and Hendo they gave their all, Stokesy scoring goals and Hendo with his never stop giving attitude.

Reality check. We're not that good, Lennon is not that good and promotion is far from a done deal.

Anyone thinking we will knock out Hearts needs their heads checked.

Yip too many in the Easter Road hierarchy obviously thought the league was won hence the transfer window. Helps of course that many within our support think likewise too. Yes we will likely win it but it's far far from a foregone conclusion. Let's hope we put up some kind of fight next week as Scottish Cup holders.

100% correct. The lack of ambition from the top is an utter disgrace. No other club being 8 points clear would actually weaken the squad and not freshen things up. Hibernian FC thought otherwise. Losing Commons was a big blow. Had four weeks to have a plan B set up but didn't do squat. Hanlon one of our best and consistent performers, could be out for some time. What do we do? Yep Jack squat again. So we leave the window weaker than we went in to it. How that can be deemed as acceptable is beyond me. Heads should roll for that alone. As usual we have to put up with the utter incompetence that runs the club.

That defence won't keep up the best defensive record in Europe with Fontaine instead of Hanlon

There was a spare seat next to me today, Fontaine should've been sat there! The guys just no a football player! As I said earlier what kind of CB can't defend or header? All he has is a long hard punt up the field which is useless unless holt or grahams on the park even then it's no much use

We didnt even look like scoring untill he came on. Some good through balls and strength to introduce others in to play and get us forward quicker. Great quick thinking at the end too with the quick long throw, unfortunately Graham is a huddie and neither shot nor crossed it to the awaiting Cummings.

What a depressing exchange. Only thing more depressing is that i agree with it.

Utd giving the pish drinkers Rovers a right good pumping. Still, what do we need with a January windae...8 points clear, eh.

Sorry mate I just thought his wages could have been placed elsewhere TBH.

I honestly think our signings have been very poor and with all the revenue we the fans gave them, the cup run and wins etc I expected more quality.

I thought things were picking up when we got Humphrey and the signs were good on his debut, then I read what others are saying today makes me even more worried and wonder where all the revenue has gone.

Can you honestly say you are happy with our signings and lack of real investment into the playing staff mate?

without looking at the stats it's been a very low scoring season watching Hibs I think ( Bonnyrigg game aside ), defence is performing quite well with not many conceded and we are not exactly prolific with our top scorer regularly dropped to the bench..

Yes I can, I can assure you Hibs frustrate me as much as you, frankly a whole lot more as I go every week, you dinnae. But, as much as I am $#@!ed off about this weeks mess, they are my team, I love this club. The lack of signings is frustrating , we needed a centre half, we didnae get one , big mistake.

That was another admin error, there have been many, maybe Leeann has been tapped up?

"Piss the bedders". Sorry, didnae realise the Bounce had become .net and posters werenae allowed to express opinions without this sort of $#@!e getting flung at them. Expression of opinion was the whole reason the Bounce was started was it not?

As for "not being at the game". I`m a $#@!in season ticket holder who has been to many games, this season and others, who has a right to an opinion based on what i`ve witnessed this season. My posts were general and not based on this game. I have at no time commented on the teams performance today....i wasn`t there....i`ve commented on the result and our our clubs lack of transfer dealing.

I apologise for posting an opinion.
I started out with nothing and i`ve still got most of it left.

Fair enough mate, some of us can't always go to the matches and rely on your " Just Back" and lately it has been grim reading certainly surrounding our new signings. It does get the fans backs up and rightly so when we have been charged SPL prices, donating to the club, cup win where has all that revenue gone. We should have signed a centre back, striker, and another midfielder positions I know NL wanted to fill also. It's frustrating mate but hardly bed wetting.

hear this quoted a lot, I am happy enough with the £380 I pay for a seat at ER interest free through the payment plan, think its £33 per month.

not looked at other clubs pricing but do you think this is unreasonable?

even if we had knocked 50 quid or so off ST's I doubt it would have had any impact on sales.

Don't know about United's ST prices but we hadn't won the Scottish Cup when the season ticket prices were released so feel that the cup win is irrelevant?

mentioned cup win with regard to us affording a squad that could compete in league and national cups, which we did.

is this the 4th season in a row ST prices have been the same?

could be cheaper but am personally happy enough with cost of mine. what would you ideally pay?

Sorry, i misunderstood you, thought you meant it was OK for ST prices to stay at that level because we won the cup.I've no idea what we should be paying, maybe £300 tops? Would be interesting to see what other championship teams charge - feel United isn't a good indicator as they were only relegated last season so possibly kept their prices frozen, hoping they would go up in one season - kinda what we had hoped too.

prices at ER been the same for a few years now as mentioned.

assume Dumbarton, Ayr, St Mirren, Raith, QOS etc are all cheaper to watch, do you think we should have reduced our full price ST's to achieve parity with them?

suspect doing so would have had not much impact on our season ticket sales over last 3 seasons

FFS guys we're still gonna win the league. 1875 is right bed wetters get a grip. Its not gonna be the clear cut affair we all expected but we are still the best by a mile! Lennon got it wrong today, but Id rather have a manager who changes it as regards to the opposition than someone who plays the diamond week in week out regardless of who we play or form. He got it wrong today but he has gotten it right more often than not. GBNL and GGTHH

I don't see anyone "pishing the bed" Most are pissed off with the lack of investment from the board. It's no coincidence that before Commons was brought in we were not in the position we are now. Lennon clearly expressed that he needed players in and the board didn't back him. If it's true that we tried to sign Commons, Stokes and another defender then the board are 100% incompetent. Like usual they wait until the last moments trying to do it on the cheap and came up short. No plan B and nothing done ahead of time. If those are the facts then the board must have believed we needed those players, but fell short. People can blame Celtic, Commons or Stokes for wanting too much. Bottom line is Hibs wanted things on the cheap.

I don't understand the hostility towards members that aren't happy with the board or what's on the pitch. Whether your an arm chair fan or uber fan makes no difference. We all support the club and want what's best for it. The people running the club have watched us finish 10th, 11th, 7th and then relegated. The writing was clearly on the wall and they failed. Now we find ourselves for a third year in this league on the back of a third place finish. The board could have chosen to try and push the boat out and start building for next year in the SPL. They chose to try and do it on the cheap and hope we have enough to hang on to first place. Like I said I still expect us to go up, if we don't they will have taken a massive step back. Won't have 11,000 punters renewing that's for sure,

I might be in a minority, but I'd didn't think we were as bad as folk make out yesterday. Not brilliant, but hardly deserving of the greeting on here.
Made a few chances, they score a decent goal, their goalie has a worldie and we're not up to standard.
Strange selection from Lennon, but he probably had half an eye on next week.

Still stand by my guess that Morton away 8th April we win the league.

Wonder what the moaners will talk about then?

I can think of 3 excellent ones. 2 from Shinnie in the 1st half and one in the second which from the other end of the east I thought was brilliant.

In all honesty yes i think they should have been reduced after we didn't get up at the first time of asking. But it is what it is. My concern is that they'll hike them up when we get back into the SPL which is unfair IMO.

At game thought it was fonts at fault. Big daz was very poor and the keeper. Plus not cover from midfield when we lost possession on halfway line.
