Post Scottish cup ticket sales arrangements

Hibernian can confirm the ticket sales arrangements for the William Hill Scottish Cup Fifth Round tie with Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle on Sunday 12 February.

Tickets for this match will go on sale to Season Ticket Holders, 1 ticket per client ref from 12pm on Wednesday 1st February 2017.

The Ticket Office will open from 12pm on Wednesday and not 10am as is usually the case. The sales date and time has been set following discussions with Ticketmaster to help manage the traffic to the system, both in person and through phone and online channels. Sales online, by phone and at the Ticket Office will start simultaneously at 12pm – this is to give all supporters a fair and equal chance of purchasing tickets.

Please note there will be a very high demand for this match therefore limited purchase of 10 tickets per person, both online and in person. Please have names and client reference numbers for all supporters on hand. If purchasing online we would recommend setting your network up today to ensure everyone has been added correctly.

Supporters who have opted in to the away season ticket scheme, please note the money will deducted on Tuesday 31st January and will be ready for collection from Friday 3rd February only. Away season ticket holders will be allocated tickets in the Roseburn Upper.

Any tickets remaining will go on general sale from 10am on Monday 6th February.

    To Purchase Tickets:

Online at Home - eTickets with no booking fees or in person during opening times at the Ticket Office. Alternatively, you can purchase by telephoning the call centre on 0844 844 1875 option 1.

Note: All sales are subject to availability

    Ticket Prices:

    Roseburn Upper/Lower:

    Adult - £28/£26

Over 65/Full time student (with a valid matriculation card) - £20/£18

    Under 18 -£16/ £14

    Under 13 - £10

Please note a booking fee of £1.50 per ticket by telephone only, applicable to adults and concessions will be charged. There are no booking fees when purchasing online.

    Disabled Supporters:

    Wheelchair & Carer - £15

Ambulant – Please note all ambulant carer tickets have now sold out.

Please contact the Disabled Supporters’ Helpline directly on 0131 656 7066/0844 844 1875 option 2, visit the Ticket Office or e-mail disabledtickets@hibernianfc.co.uk

Can you use a kids reference number to buy an adult ticket? Have heard yes from someone and no from someone

Would've been good if they had done what others had said and given priority to people that went to the recent away games too but realistically that option went out the loyalty points! Hope everyone that wants a ticket gets one but sadly won't be the case

Hm. Well, as said, let the carnage begin. Been lucky the past few times, I've just got a feeling I won't be this time. Do we think queuing up at ER is a better bet than going online?

Hibs have claimed ticket sales start at 12 to help with the online traffic so it's more manageable and easier to use....whether that'll be the case or no time will tell

I'll hopefully get a ticket this time, went to around 50/55 games last season but couldn't get a ticket for last year's derby! Bring it on.

Ticket Queue update... been here since 7am off night shift.. probably about 150 in Q before me and 100 behind me at roughly 9am.. started handing out vouchers to people in Q up to the point when they ran out so you were guaranteed ticket.. about 50 after me then rest were cut off and we're told no more tickets will be available.. so if you need to go online now.. big Frank Dougan done the necessary.. Happy I'm getting mines.. lot of disappointed people though.

Was a joke this morning. Replaced my mate who had been there since about 4 at 6.45. Sat there quite happy then all of a sudden a door opens, folk pile in from the back of the queue to the front, and folk who had been there since midnight shoved to the back.

For a moment thought it was gonna kick off as chancers acted like arseholes. Calmed down eventually and Frank Dougan went round assuring folk they'd be fine.

If ever there was a good reason to have a loyalty point scheme where the most regular attendees get priority and having to queue for upto 16 hours to be assured of a ticket, it was this morning.

Also big shout out to Frank, the only person from hibs visible, who did a very good job of placating people.

Vouchers secured, tickets sorted, but ffs Hibs, sort it out.

Made a complete mess of it im hearing, opened gates at both ends or something like that, guys been queueing since last night, early morning ended up at the back, lots arseholes stealing folks places.... Whatever way you think its fair, this has been a total mess, feel for guys who have bern there for hours only for knobends turning up later and going to front, hibs mess up or not, still not right

Totally agree with everything said.. should have fine tuned the loyalty system instead of scrapping it..

so the moany ST holders got there way, by pestering LD and others to scrap the LP scheme, are they over the moon now.....why ....cause some kid on a Student ST who pays less than you goes to away games and is more entitled to a Cup final ticket.

this could've been so civilized, the club would know who the 3K most deserving are, they could've logged in at anytime.

bring back LP - admit it was an error to scrap it and do it right this time!

if not at least put in a ballot system, every ST holder puts in a note of intent - online - and they system randomly alots 3K of them tickets....those who didn't get but put in a note of intent are more likely to get next time a ballot comes round.

this seems way more stressful than it should

What utter bellends we have within our support seizing the opportunity to skip the queue cheating on folk who have been standing for hours. We have lots of Hibs Class but such behaviour certainly isn't that.

It was argument put by "LP Scrappers" at the time... my ST costs more = i am more deserving

IMO loyalty is going home and away and not the size of you wallet.

Mine too, regardless of what others say, Frank represents both the fans and club well, today being a good example.
Wasn't gonna vote for anyone, but I'll vote for him based on this morning.

The same frank dougan that allowed the scheme to be scrapped. No feedback from Amit on his stance. Two big issues loyalty scheme and ibrox and they failed the fans
Frank was vocal about keeping the loyalty scheme in place I think.

So what's the script, M - pointless me going online at 12 now?
Still the same chance bud, tickets were allocated 50/50 with online/ticket office. Good luck!

so the moany ST holders got there way, by pestering LD and others to scrap the LP scheme, are they over the moon now.....why ....cause some kid on a Student ST who pays less than you goes to away games and is more entitled to a Cup final ticket.
Was it moany ST holders that took that stance?

I'm a moany ST holder and I thought the scheme was great (mainly because I was in the top bracket due to ST and being fairly regular purchaser of away tickets too) until it got contaminated with the HSL stuff - then it became more than a 'look after the guys that go' .................... more of a 'look after the guys that buy shares'.......... but lets face it, as long as demand outstrips supply some of us are going to be unhappy.

To be fair Leeann was there until close to midnight so she's entitled to some kip.

Not sure Jamie Marwick would have been able to do much unless there was some beans to be counted.

Don't think there are any others.

Fingers crossed I get one. Only missed Turiff this season and not missed a derby home or away since 2002

Also in the Q. In fact, it appears I am in a Q just to log in to the eticketing site, that right?

I remember going pure mental at the thing another time, very much hoping if I make it through that it doesn't play silly buggers with error messages, etc....

Ditto. Transaction done by 1202. Much to the chagrin of a guy i know who's been in the ticket office queue since 4am.

I'm in, but can't even select one ticket in any of the offered sections - does that mean I'm fcuked and it's sold out?

If you're still logged in but the error message keeps appearing and wont let you select a ticket, keep trying for now - I eventually got one, and some people might release the odd one from their basket.
