    Doon wi the doonhamers - 0 v 1

Wee trip down to bonnie Galloway the morn. Mind the roads are a mess, budget a good two hours down there. Me, well I am heading down with the good doctor, my brother and nephew and meeting South West Hibby for a pre match pair of teeth or twa.

Hibs have sold out the seated area, but tickets are available to stand behind the goals. At £16 an adult and only a fiver for under 16's, Queens offer some of the best prices to watch fitba in this league. This is a tough old time of the year, worse as we keep playing away from home but I wonder just how many fans who are looking for tickets to the Guntery are considering heading doon the road to get behind the lads in the push for promotion? If ye can, do so. If I were Hibs, I would ensure every fan who was at Dumfries and Falkirk should get a ticket for the Gunt game, its easy, they record your details when you buy a ticket in advance.

    So, the team.

Its a tough game, Gary Nayuse has brought the Doonhamers back into the mix after falling away badly, Dobbie is a rotund but dangerous player and they always give us a difficult game.

The artificial pitch means no start for Dylan for me, but a welcome return of captain David, winning goal scorer in the 2016 Scottish Cup final. I expect very few changes, with the team looking something like this....4 4 2

    Laidlaw

    Gray
    McGregor
    Hopefully Hanlon, if not, Fontaine
    Stevenson

    Fyvie
    McGinn
    Shinnie
    Humphrey

    Holt and Jason?

    Thoughts?

    See you doon there.....

Had on Had on CEO of the Doonhamer Hibs supporters Association ere !!!!! . A warm welcome awaits all Hibees the morn doon ere in Little England.
Good news if you have a terrace ticket it will be a dry day. Queens have been getting a wee bit better of late , New Manager has showed a wee bounce in fortunes however I think though a hard game will ensue they are still short in a few areas , and their bench is full of youngsters who have yet failed to impress. So I look forward to a hard fought win and 3 more pts on our way back.
    Safe journey ye all.....

Now leaving at 11.30 due to local road works causing carnage on the a71, expect you to have the round on the bar for 13..15 amigo.

It will be a tough game tomorrow down there against a side who have improved in the last few weeks with their new manager steadying the ship. I saw the highlights of their 2-1 win at Dumbarton the other week there and they looked a better team than the one which Hibs demolished at Easter Road 4-0 earlier in the season. Dobbie is a very good finisher and they also now have the experienced John Rankin into their midfield. Danny Carmichael will also have something to prove. With United facing a tricky game at Dunfermline tomorrow, we really could do with the three points. I think we will edge it but wouldn't be surprised if it was a draw.

I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed my other trip to Dumfries earlier this season. Hopefully the result and the weather are bit better this time though. I'll miss wee trips like this if we go up this season. Grounds like Palmerston remind me of being wee, total time warp, but in a nice way.

Just setting off from Wakey. Hope the players are fully focused on this one. Tricky place and they've found a bit of form. Get the job done Hibs and the Cup will take care of itself.

Heading down with a few off my pals for this one, looking forward to it. Won't be an easy game on that pitch but hopefully we put in the same kinda performance against them as our last meeting with them and just run right over the top of them! Cmon hibs let's do this and try and open an even wider gap at the top!!

Beginning to feel the pressure of win every game. Be nice to open up a sizable gap and coast to the title in April.

Ours for the taking now. The only way we don't win the league from 8 points clear with 14 (?) games to go is if we blow it ourselves.

Didn't rate the performance much but the win was all that mattered. No slip up against Ayr and we're in a great position of at least 8 points ahead with league games running out.

Agreed...really 9 points with the positive GD in our favour. We've become a very difficult side to create chances against..our defensive record is outstanding this season. It may have curbed our more flamboyant attacking tendancies a tad away from home but its very effective in grinding out results and points when required at a vital stage in the season. We look solid.

Another win closer to promotion and that's all that matters! McGregor is an absolute rock! Bad news about Hanlon of it's true what the suns kenny millar is saying and he does need an operation on his pelvis!

Dundee Utd don't play til 5.15 next Sat (Raith),We could be 11 points ahead by the time they start
Yep that would be a great psychological boost to be in a double digit lead. My main concern would be players getting over confident or Lennon resting players for the Cup games. I reckon until we are out of sight (15 points) we should always play full strength.

I think we'll win the league away to dunfermline. Could be an outstanding away day up there if it's to be the case.

Massive day today, putting a 3 game points difference between us and our 2 nearest rivals if Morton win their 2 games in hand is massive! Dundee are now going through a very sticky patch similar to us last year when we lost the league at this time of year

What about that feckin dump Greenock😀😀
Until we have a simple system for awarding tickets/points then what you've suggested sounds sensible.
You never know maybe the two potential fans reps will take this on board if they do a bit research and see your suggestions😈 GGTTH
