That's a scunner for me. Wife's 40th birthday that day, no chance she'll want to sample the delights of the city of discovery.

I beleive a wee spa day at e.g. stobo castle for wife (and a.n.other). Wife arrives friday luchtime, leaves sat Tea time. Hubby arranges romantic meal on the saturday and the promise of the good old days on the sat night. is what is required!

    Happy to help

There's actually a couple of decent restaurants in Dundee. A decent dinner and a night at the Apex Hotel worked for me on a previous visit, although that was an afternoon kick off so dinner was easier to organise.

To be fair, it was my missus I took rather than yours.

Sounds like you're offering your services here Doctor? The Bounce never fails to help a fellow Hibby in need...

I only realised today when talking to work colleague who kids on he disnae hate Hibs (I interviewed him, he has no idea how lucky he was he hid his Guntery), that the day the charity bumpers down Gorgie way won in some cup final or other against us that they now they cling to like George Burley does to a pint of Meths was in fact my wedding anniversary. So fcuking what.

May 21 2016 is the only date any Hibs fan now cares about.

Chips and Cava, followed by a Frutin Travel spectacular will win the day, spesh if we win at Tannadeechy.

(Dinnae listen to me, miss the game and treat Mrs Southfield).

My missus is the most accommodating wife when it comes to Hibs. As tricky mentions, an overnight to Dingwall with him and other bams on our 10th wedding anniversary being just one example.

But she's had a $#@!e start to 2017 so right now my gut tells me to ditch the cabbage this time and take her to The St Andrews for a top notch fish tea.

Followed by corporate hostility at Tannadice, perfect.
