    I watched it.

Truly dire stuff. I'm embarrassed for Jonathan Watson's friends and family who presumably will have to tell him that some of it was funny.

First Hogmanay for years that I haven't been up town at a nightclub or something like that. Spent the evening at my Dad's and watched this embarrassing guff on TV. Can't believe this is what they put on now on TV on Hogmanay along with the other stuff leading up to the Hogmanay part show. Only an excuse is so far past it's sell-by date it's just not real. Last time I'm ever going to stay in on Hogmanay again.

In contrast to green machine, I've been housebound on Hogmanay for years due to the age of my sprogs. This is the year I finally didn't even record it - despite tv technology now making that easier than ever. Even the passing curiosity of whether they'd mention our cup win wasn't enough to waste time on it. An advert featuring 'macca' may have been the final straw - just how ridiculous is this now? It's as if when the show first started it had featured some trousersnake from the 1950s. It defies belief really.

We got a mention in a very unfunny parody of Trainspotting 2. Oh and that was the unfunniest bit of of the whole unfunny show, watched under duress fae the missus. She's missed the last20 years of this $#@!e due to her doing night shift, and Widnes listen when I telt her it was $#@!e. She's already been on the phone tae her work requesting a shift next Hogmanay .

The bit with Judy Murray and Macca was a wee bit funny no?! Obviously just the same joke done repeatedly for the past 23 years, since the World Cup 94 episode (which was its finest hour!)
