Find them a waste of time. Using George Craig to stifle any time for questions.Scottish Cup win has got Petrie out of jail. Third year in lower leagues. Not one director walked. No shame

    Pretty decent turnout.
Presentations from the hired hands on what they did, and of course from Rodders.
I'm very happy with the progress and direction the club is heading.

Only bit I didn't really appreciate was Leann's response to a question about past and future treatment of our fans at the Hunnery. Fudged and weak. Pity.

    Rest was good.

    Rod spoke very well.

    Neil spoke very well.

    Leeann spoke very well.

George spoke, spoke and spoke very well.

    Very corporate, some apparent contradictions.

Like what shrunk alluded to above, the ibrox question was dingied.

Safe standing was dingied, but there some confusion about the development game that was abandoned v Rangers - all not as it seemed.

I thought somebody might have asked about stubbs or what happens when 51% is reached. I was too scared to as I was sitting right behind sir Tom.

I thought it was an excellent if somewhat overlong meeting which just re-emphasised yet again how much this club has changed in the last two years in that it is now a very professionally run organisation with some top quality people involved in it. It also seems clear to me that the historic and defining Scottish Cup win has changed the whole dynamic at Hibernian forever. It was great to see both Scottish Cup trophies on display tonight. I was very impressed with Lennon..I thought he spoke very well and is clearly a very single minded, intelligent and focussed individual. I thought the presentations from the people involved in the football side of the business were impressive. Eddie May seems to me to be a determined, tough, no nonsense type who isn't afraid to make tough decisions when it comes to young players and their development. He rightly made the point about the fact that the youth academy had to be about nothing else but the production of top quality young footballers who should be forcing their way into the first team. He stated that the fact that there were currently no youngsters starting regularly in the first team who had successfully came through the youth system at East Mains as a reason why there is still much work to do. He seemed very confident that we have some great youngsters waiting to make the breakthrough soon.

I agree about Leeann's answer to the lad who asked about the treatment of Hibs supporters at Ibrox on 28th December. She seemed quite evasive and never really addressed the point being made, which was a pity as the rest of her talk was excellent. I thought we might have heard from Frank and Amit but the meeting went on so long (2 hours 20 minutes) that I think they just ran out of time. George Craig is a big asset to the club and is very enthusiastic and ambitious for the clubs future, it's just that he clearly loves the sound of his own voice and tends to go on too much. The meeting was very professionally structured and extremely encouraging, but it was warm and stuffy in there and as I say I just felt it went on a bit too long.

It was a very relaxed yet professional AGM very well run with excellent presentations from all the speakers including the media and stats analyst and the club medical and performance director.

This was a great idea and rarely happens at AGM's and really shows how well Leanne and George Craig have transformed the club behind the scenes.

On the football side NL sees Calum Crane as Louis Stevenson's successor but not yet as still to inconsistent and I read that if we get Dylan McGeogh back regularly then this will allow "Super John" time off to get his minor operation.

NL was scouting in Dublin at the Irish Cup final this week and felt he had inherited excellent squad but needed more "out" balls up front hence Graham and Holtie. NL is a highly thoughtful and intelligent though undoubtedly complex man.

Loads of jokes from "The Dear Leader" who was in his element and clearly still basking in celebration of "that day".

The fans reps didn't speak though they were warmly spoke of by many speakers and both can put themselves up for re election which is very good news. "Big Franks" contribution was recognised by Director Bruce Langhom who mentioned how "Big Frank" has taken the Scottish Cup to Edinburgh hospices.

Leanne thought standing areas were a waste of money and apologised for the crap cup final merchandise though not for the tannoy system. Something you would have thought is so easily addressed.

Leanne then summarised the evening very well and is a perfect foil to 'shouty mouthy" though still very good George Craig but then she sadly blanked the "Sevco" issue.

Maybe fair enough not getting into a tit for tat with cup final statements but she knows fine (Per Amit) the abuse suffered by the support in last December's match.

It was therefore mealy mouthed to hide behind "We have talked one to one with representatives of "Scotland s Shame 2012" about what happened that day".

Very weak. Hibs play "Scotland's Shame 2012" at least 4 times next year in volatile atmospheres and we really need to know our chief executive is going to do a bit more than have a big lunch with her "Scotland's Shame 2012" counterpart.

The only minor drawback to a rightly self congratulatory evening.

I hope LD learns from that question , I've banged on for a wee while about the lack of support in that particular area . I generally like LD professionally however it has always left a question mark for me.And as us foot soldiers know come our next visit tae greyskull we will have to revisit this topic once more unfortunately.
I still look forward to going though

I've never heard him give a speech but George Craig was a good and generous lad when giving me a tour of the Hibs training centre few months back.

was much said about the Hibs Community Foundation?

from what I can gather its more dysfunctional than ever.

their website still has Wendy as heading it up but she left months ago, has she been replaced?

Fine Leanne saying standing areas are a waste of time...however it is clear there is a tolerance, maybe even encouragement towards standing at Easter Road, therefore there really does need to be a designated area where people will be totally discouraged to sit with their bairns asking others to sit down

To be fair I don't recall Leeann saying standing areas were a waste of time. She implied more a waste of money. "Not a priority at this time."
    I quite agree with her.

Once we have regained our position as a top club; got decent gear in the shop; pies that aren't fcukin superglued to the foil tray; ensured the safety of our fans at the Hunnery....... then we can look at it.

The best bit about standing at fitba' - and I did it for fcukin yonks - wasn't the better atmosphere that folk think will magically appear. It was the ability to move away from the fcukin annoying $#@! next to you that spouted pish for ninety minutes. Seriously. That was the best bit. I'm quite happy in my seat in the FF. Sod standing.
Funnily enough I had this conversation with the guys around me who all disagreed and thought it would be great to get back to having the ability to move away from some annoying prick.

must be a lesson there somewhere but seriously, I agree it is pointless taking away the seats we have at present simply to replace them with other seats as there is plenty leg room for standing...just it needs to be an agreed area where everyone recognises that is what is happening...and preferably those who wanna sing will also group together rather than 100 people around you who wanna stand but not sing
