    F.A.O Amit - twitter query

    Hi mate. Any idea why @hibsofficial fails to respond to any direct queries on their twitter account? I know of a few people who have contacted them and they just get blanked. Not exactly moving towards being all inclusive.

    Hello,

    Clearly there will be some tweets they'll not respond to given their nature. However, for genuine requests for information, the lack of a response will most likely be due to resource allocated to managing the account and also the tweet may have not been picked up.

    Was there something in particular as I maybe able to help with it.

    I would need to trawl back through twitter to find them mate. Thanks for the offer but if Hibs are serious about speaking to their customers they should really try a bit harder and ensure that someone with enough time to read and reply to tweets is in charge of their twitter account. @MixuDave had a query he put to them and was ignored so maybe he can enlighten you further at least in regard to his specific query.

    We'll feed that back as the Twitter account continues to rise in popularity and its use for pushing out media and comma has also increased

    On the night of the Brondby game, I was delayed at work. I tweeted Hibs - twice - to ask if I'd be able to get entry to the ground around 8.40 - my ETA. No response.

    No probs. I realise it was a busy time. Actually, I didn't get in. The bus I was on from Glasgow got held up and didn't get until 9. I went home tired and deflated.

    That wouldn't work Gogs. The volunteer would need to be privy to al the workings at Hibs to enable him/her to answer queries and that's not workable.

    To be sure it would take a lot of work but I think after the initial getting up to speed (knowing the standard replies to common questions and who to get information from quickly for others) it could work well. I would see the volunteer(s) being used mostly in the busy times around games while taking a more passive role at other times.

    Canny see it happening though as I get the impression the club are, or have moved away, from this kind of volunteer interaction.

    I'd like to know whether or not the 'Time For Heroes' DVD will be made available for digital download via iTunes or GooglePlay. I asked both on Twitter and Facebook, and get a response neither time.
