I don't do Twitter either - you can see it as it is public. Google it.

FWIW, I didn't get mine on Friday either. Got it on Saturday as per description above where the Royal Mail didn't do what had been paid for. However, that's the RM's doing. And even if I was peed off with Hibs, there are ways of doing things properly. What she is fielding is nonsense. Maybe a troll.
Thanks, I took your advice and googled it.

Yes, social media does give a platform for some arseholes on occasion. I am just frustrated at not being able to watch the DVD yet but that is the extent of my "ire".

Waited a a few years to win the bloody thing, I for one can wait a few more days to watch the story about our success.

Thanks. Both at 1hr 30 mins and 30 secs pause and flick to 2hr 19 mns. You can't rewind it back. I'll try it in a different machine
It happens to mine when Liam Fontaine is talking, I couldnae care less, it gave me a microsecond to compose myself.

I've had mine a couple of days now.
    Glad I reserved a copy.

I don't quite understand the competition to see it first.

I'll wait until I can sit with my sons and we will watch it together.

I may have a wee peek at it before, but I'm leaving the wrapping on to lessen the possibility.

Ours has just been delivered. It was shoved through the door, no signature sought. We were in the house and nobody rang the door or knocked. When I checked the tracking on line it said it had been delivered to a neighbour who had signed for it. It was not. It dropped through the door with the other mail. Online you can check to see who signed for it. It was marked with a handwritten cross. Royal Mail have simply delivered this by the normal means and it has cost £5 for the pleasure.

I think I might just ask for my £5 back from them (not Hibs)
Hibs would need to complain to Royal Mail as the sender to get the money back.

Just got an email from Royal Mail saying they tried to deliver my package but as no one was there to sign for it I've got to pick up from the depot. Wish they had just stuck it through the door!! Annoying because I was off Friday and Saturday. Ah well never mind I can wait another day, will go get it tomorrow after work. From what people on here have said about the DVD I can't wait to see it!!

The question has to be why they felt the need to only have the DVDs go out by signed for mail?

I'd have collected, didn't have the option because they didn't provide that option (probably to prevent the shop being inundated). Not sure why it had to be £5 for signed for though - wonder whether they thought they would go missing in the post unless they were signed for?

They do put the full senders name and address on it which may encourage theft?

Same for me on both counts.

Not decided if I should watch it for the first time stone cold sober or accompanied by a bottle of plonk.

My copy arrived on Saturday and I watched part one on Sunday - top marks to Hibs for the best football-related dvd I've ever seen. From start to finish it is a masterpiece. Great production, fantastic footage and some surprises among the interviews. Had a lump in my throat all the way through but I was reaching for the Kleenex by the end. It captured the whole essence of the Club and its standing in the community and the players' individual takes on the occasion were at times hilarious. Brilliant viewing and well worth the money. Will watch Part Two next weekend.

PS: Also caught Forza's cameo appearance and even that couldn't spoil it for me!

Watched the first disc tonight and I can only echo what has been said. Easily the best football DVD I have ever seen. A quite superb production which truly encapsulates one of the club's greatest ever achievements. Superb footage throughout, wonderful insights from the players ad the management. The parade scenes were great as well although I would love to have seen more shots showing the sheer size of the crowd on Leith Walk. A wonderful two days which will live for evermore in the memory of everyone connected with this great club of ours.

Looking forward to watching the whole match on the second disc....I haven't watched the full game again at all yet since the match itself so that should be great to re-live.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this masterpiece.

I'm fairly certain that everything that you buy online from the club store is sent out recorded delivery.

I have always found your advice to be spot on DJ, vino it is then.

Still not here yet though, tracking it and I anticipate arrival at a wee fishing village just north of Engerland tomorrow morning. 1000hrs is a tad early for wine so I will need to wait another few hours. Cannae wait!

    Eyemouth 1337???

Rec'd E mail Monday morning saying dvd had been dispatched, tracked it only to find that Royal Mail had only been
"notified" to the effect that the delivery was coming their way and that at that point was not yet in their system. Subsequent tracking has
unearthed that only today did the Royal Mail receive my parcel from the club store and it now languishes within the Edinburgh Mail Centre.

I refuse to get bent out of shape over this, at least I know it is on its' way. Tis' a sorry mess though.

    Cheers
Emoo indeed Mr or Mrs Heid.

I have the same notifications but hopefully the DVDs is despatched by motor vehicle rather than horse and cart hence my anticipation for tomorrow.

No point getting upset but I have to agree, it's not been the slickest delivery operation for many.

Sorry MR Heid, can't be too careful nowadays, the PC polis are never far away!

Leaping Salmon at Berwick upon tweed? Northburn caravan site at Eyemouth? I frequented the caravan site as a teenager, Driftwood bar was the boozer then, never up there now other than walking the dog around the cliffs.

Nowt funnier than folk though, eh? Eyemouth very popular for the Welsh as a base during Rugby five and six nations ( just seen Swansea and presumed you Welsh).

See when that DVD pops through the letterbox, it will all be worth the wait mate, I hope the pony is fitted with winter tyres for the journey south though........

Just finished watching the first disc, absolutely superb. I just wish Liam Henderson and John Doolan were still at our club. I've always been a bit harsh on Rod Petrie but now feel very bad after watching that. Definitely worth the wait Well done Hibs!!

I think it's more to prevent slightly dishonest folk saying that they haven't received something and then asking for the money back whilst keeping the package and stiffing the club, plus if it's a signed for delivery then, IIRC it's also covered my Royal Mail insurance.

Think it was unwise not to have the collection option for those that were going to the game on Saturday but I suppose the thinking would be that if they'd had delivery problems it would have saved any complaints from fans about not getting it.

Bit of a lose/lose situation for the club.

    Cheers
Enjoy, I suggest a box of kleenex or a new kitchen roll. You'll see why.

I've just watched the first disc of the cup final DVD. Brilliant and the first tear came to my eye during the Herts match. Particularly good are the interviews.

I don't know about you but the whole thing still seems surreal; maybe it will sink in one day....

watched the dvd last night it was very good, interviews possibly a bit repetitive towards the end could have maybe included some punters from outwith the club.

would have liked to see the superb pitch invasion from new angles but that bit was airbrushed out completely
    until the sky turns green

Just watched the entire game for the first time since being at the match itself...bloody hell.
First of all what a superb match it was. An absolute dream ending for Hibs obviously. The whole thing has been a blur for me since May so it was great to re-live the whole match again knowing how it was all going to turn out. I do remember being surprisingly (for me) calm during the match. That last 15 minutes especially will go down in Hibernian folklore. 2-1 down in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden against the Rangers and we come back and win it at the death. Nothing has come near to equalling that in our lifetimes as Hibs fans. Not even the greatest teams and managers in the last 114 years of our history achieved what Stubbs and that Hibs squad did that sunny wonderful day six months ago.

A few other things...Hibs defended superbly. We also had 13 efforts at goal in the first half alone most of them coming from Anthony Stokes who was as far as I am concerned the difference between the two teams. Hibs definitely deserved to win the cup and we were the better team overall in what was an enthralling final. The Rangers had more possession but didn't create the chances Hibs did. Henderson changed the game when he came on.

A slight complaint in that the picture quality is not quite what I would have hoped, but it doesn't detract from the content ! It's also a pity we have to put up with that erse Andy Walker and his slaverings. Hallidays's goal was a cracker but the way Walker was creaming himself over it you would have thought it was on a par with Archie Gemmill's against Holland.

The whole 2 DVD set is spectacularly great...and a great effort from all involved. Let's just hope we win the cup again in the not too distant future. I think we will.

My lot congregated yesterday to watch Time For Heroes, followed by our insipid nations side.

It was superb. Never thought Rod would nearly bring me to tears.
