This is only a guess, but I'm fairly sure DVDs should be landing on door mats Friday morning. Why else would folk pre-order, pay a fiver for delivery and wait a few extra days when they could get it from the shop?
This is the way I hope that it works as I've pre-ordered it. Although there is part of me that thinks with the club shops history it may well not be sent out until tomorrow and not arrive till next week sometime

I'm starting to think I shouldn't have pre ordered and just went to the shop on Friday. I was worried they might be sold out. I thought the pre order would be delivered on Friday. Fingers crossed

I hope it arrives at my hoose Friday otherwise the big box of tissues I ordered based on SKII's wonderful report and Braeheeds suggestion will be used to blow my nose instead.

    My order still processing.
Not any advantage in pre ordering it would seem which is rather frustrating as well as a waste of £5.

No sign of mine, but it's no big deal when I get it, as long as long as I do.

It would have cost me £5 at least to pick it up, or stand in a big queue on a match day so I'm not getting too agitated. There are a few vein popping angry men on .net who are over-reacting a bit in my opinion but hey-ho.

I'm going to 1875's gaff tonight to help him with the big box of kleenex instead.

Aye it's no a big deal but kinda defeats the whole purpose of pre-ordering something if it's not going to be delivered the day it's released in the shop. I've said before though, it's the hibs clubshop therefor I am in now way surprised

    I didn't understand pre-ordering to mean I'd get it pre-release or early.
Maybe that's why I'm not bothered.

Correct. I took it to mean that you were guaranteed to get one if your order was accepted. You could rock up to the shop at opening time and there might not be any as they have all been "pre-ordered" and they are waiting on another batch being produced.

I'll get my copy in the next week or so, I'm not too fussed about getting it on the day of release.

After seeing how Hibs organised the cup final ticket sales and then didn't have any post cup final merchandise I really didn't expect the DVD sales to turn out any better.

I remember precisely thinking when the pre order option came out thinking that Hibs are going to underestimate the numbers and not give themselves enough time to send them out.

Cant say it worries me at all. You build these sort of things into your expectations when dealing with all football clubs.

Hibs.net is a great read on this.

I'm not that bothered either I'm just being impatient, I've seen it at the pics just wanna see it again...now!!! 😂I just presumed pre-order meant that I'd get it on the day off release as that's what's happened elsewhere when I've pre-ordered things. As long as I get my copy of the DVD I'll be a happy chappy

Was going passed the club shop at around 9.15 this morning so I thought I would just go in and get 2 copies whilst I happened to be in the area. Got two copies no problem. That's my dad's birthday present sorted. I'll watch it over he next few days.

Ordered on Tuesday and still processing. I am not getting worked up about it but I would like to receive it as soon as given the reviews.

A tad frustrating however I am sure it will be well worth the wait.

Ours has just been delivered. It was shoved through the door, no signature sought. We were in the house and nobody rang the door or knocked. When I checked the tracking on line it said it had been delivered to a neighbour who had signed for it. It was not. It dropped through the door with the other mail. Online you can check to see who signed for it. It was marked with a handwritten cross. Royal Mail have simply delivered this by the normal means and it has cost £5 for the pleasure.

I think I might just ask for my £5 back from them (not Hibs)

Nah, the usual postie is a Hibby and a good guy. Have been friends with him for over 25 years. He's off ill at the moment and it looks like somebody couldn't be bothered. I used to have Wayne Foster as my postie...now HE WAS scared to come to the door (and the dug was well trained to make sure of that Dave Freakin Beaumont could have learned a trick or two from our old lab)

I would guess not, since Hibs only sell through their own outlet. It would be akin to being able to buy Hibs gear up the town - sensible though that would be.
Hibs can make it digitally available via the publisher, and make exactly the same money on it as they'd have done with a physical copy. More in fact, given that it's easier to market football-related content online and you're promoting the product to a far bigger market and with a much bigger reach.

Honestly, I'll be pissed off if it's not available digitally. Seriously, it's 2016 for $#@!'s sake.

Mine got delivered today, posted thru letterbox as well. Which was just as well as I was making my way back from a mates wedding the night before so wasn't in.

It's a great watch..what a magical few days/weeks that was. To come close to capturing that and manage to stir the emotions is testament to how good a job the filmmakers have made.

I won't go into too much detail about the content for those that haven't seen it yet but one of the many touching moments in it for me was when Fraser Fyvie (who I thought spoke very well) explained that his Dad (who I assume is not a Hibee) had burst into tears when he presented him with a commemorative photo of him on the day. When he asked why his Dad had said it was because of how it felt on the day to be amongst the support and how special it obviously was to everyone and that it had stirred up the same feeling receiving his gift. An interesting perspective on how that shared joy wasn't just apparent to Hibees born and bred I thought.

That was simply the most emotional, proudest, happiest DVD I have ever seen in my life. I cannae write any more "just backs" as I will never criticize any player that played for our team that day again, I love each and every one of them, from the very bottom of my Hib. Wonderful.

Because of the amount of material and the length of the film, it had to be put on to a dual layer dvd disc. This means that there is a layer break which causes a momentary freeze as the reader hops from layer one to layer two. This shouldn't cause anything other than a brief pause. The alternative was to reduce the amount of content, and the film-maker's decision was to keep the content.

    So....if it sounds like that's what's happening, that's why.

Hopefully that won't be a problem with the digital download.

Just finished watching it. Just Wow!

Absolute quality piece of film-making. At the end (in fact, the whole way through) I was bursting with pride.

    I love you Hibs

I don't do Twitter either - you can see it as it is public. Google it.

FWIW, I didn't get mine on Friday either. Got it on Saturday as per description above where the Royal Mail didn't do what had been paid for. However, that's the RM's doing. And even if I was peed off with Hibs, there are ways of doing things properly. What she is fielding is nonsense. Maybe a troll.
