    Dunfermline away 22.10.16

Anyone familiar with the East stand layout out at Dunfermline. I have tried to get a seating plan online with no success yet.

Got a ticket this morning for ESU row X and wondered how good or $#@! the view will be.

Guess X will be half way up. But don't worry, the flaky pastry bridie will make any view redundant as you slaver out yer eye balls.

I haven't been to Dumfy for a few years, but based on that bridie review my tickets have now been bought.

I hope not because I'm in the same row!! I bought it pretty much at 10AM so I assume Hibs sell the best seats first or at least back to front? That could be a dangerous assumption though!

Fronts actually pretty good at dunfermline. No walk way or that down the bottom to get in the way.

Think they just sell the seats from the back down to the front.

Cash gate for the side stand been announced and over 2700 sold so should be a cracking away support.

First proper away game I have attended for many a year (can't really count Berwick or Innerleithen).
Really looking forward to the game.I have fond memories of East End Park as a youngster, proper fitba ground, Dunfy punched well below their weight for too long too.

Keep a hold of him G - last time we saw him at EEP he was hurdling the seats in pursuit of a jobsworth steward - that might have been the day he f****d his knee, come to think of it.

    hibs vs Dunfermline

STARTING XI | Marciano, Gray, McGregor, Hanlon, Fontaine, Stevenson, Fyvie, McGinn, Shinnie, Holt, Keatings.
SUBS | Laidlaw, Forster, Bartley, Harris, Boyle, Cummings, Graham

Couple surprises there if I'm honest thought marv would've been in and no sure why Cummings has been dropped for shinnie but looks like we are going 3-5-2.

hopefully work out the way NL is planning and always got JC to come off the bench

Hibs still have that air about them, that any slip in form can seem potentially limitless - like we could fail to win for the rest of the season, or indeed ever again.

This is of course not the case but our historic moment doesn't seem to have done much for our essential fragility which prompts such fears; and nor so far has tough guy Lennon.

Hibs really need to turn it around ASAP or this is starting to look like another badly misread attempt on the first division.

I'm concerned. 5 games without a win, and a goal drought of epic proportions. We need a result, and we need it now.

Relying on Cummings solely is suicidal week after week and her the only guy who scores for us and doesn't start.

This bloke makes me pine for the glory days of Terry Butcher with Colin Calder wood as assistant. He will be sacked in summer and take all our ST money in compo and ruin the club whilst still being held in high regard for God only knows why.

So far he's managed to accenuate all our weaknesses whilst ruining all our fluidity and destroying the confidence of our only goalscorer. For a big name Managerhe has so far attracted absolutely zero players to the club with any quality and struts about the place like he's doing us all a big favour.

All in all I have reservations.

Losing this game simply isnae good enough. If we don't turn this around, then you'd have to start wondering if there is something seriously wrong.

I didn't see a push from Holt. He was unlucky to be caught as this was the only $#@!in push that inept referee has seen.

We hit the post. Dundee Utd go ahead through an OG, and currently go second. FFS. Top five separated by ONE POINT.

Other teams have found form and have strikers, we don't, we'll scrape the play offs at this rate.

    Goal

Own goal, still stand by what i say.

According to reporter, Cummings was out partying and Lennon not pleased at increase in weight. If this is so he really needs to look at himself. Im down at RAF Cosford...sick all morning, otherwise Wolves/Leeds might have been my destination

Thank $#@! for that, now to use that win to bounce on, hopefully a weight lifted off shoulders. And no red card foe US whooo hoo.

    What were we worried about?!

Now kick on, Hibs. Dundee Utd now tucked in behind us - any further slip ups/crashes in form will be punished.

    Never in doubt

Glad we finally got one from open play in the end because that is the problem. For all our understandable nerves, results elsewhere once more demonstrate that other teams in this league are capable of beating each other. Other than the Ayr game, turned on a sending off, we've not shown the same capacity for getting beat. But our failure too score mean we also frequently look unlikely to win. This is what we need to sort or a stomach churning year of white knuckle Saturday's awaits.

Take a 3-1 win away from home all day long, hit the woodwork twice too! May not have been pretty but a wins a win and with qots getting beat too we are 3 points clear!

hopefully this shows JC he isn't bulletproof and now he can pick up his form again! Also 3 goals from 3 different goal scorers not such a bad day at the office after all
