    Where's the review EGB??

New Radiohead album out a couple days ago

I have listened to the new Primal Scream album a fair few times. Patchy and not as striking as More Light but still not bad for a bunch of blokes in their 50s.

Music, was my lifeblood during the 90s when I stopped going to the football but at 47 I really have lost touch with new stuff and usually just stumble upon the bright young things by chance. The wife is trying to persuade me to go to the monstrosity that is the 'oldchella' festival they are having here in October with The Who, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Roger Waters, and Paul McCartney.

If egb isn't reviewing it I'll step in. Can only go on the two singles on Spotify, they've not put full album up yet.

Burn The Witch - 60 seconds in and we're welcomed to Thom Yorke's unique 'nyyyyaaaniiiiiiiaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyaaaaaaahhhhhhhnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' chant of pain. Sounds like the majority of Radiohead songs in that it's got plinky plonky instrumentals combined with no hint of melody.

Daydreaming - sounds like a group at the end of a 12hr LSD session jamming just before they fall asleep. Only a fanatic would listen to this all the way through twice.
