    Paul Hanlon

At defensive midfield , thought he did very well today, been saying for 2 seasons we should try him there , good to see stubbsy give him that chance , it`s a position that he is familiar with . so thoughts?

Sergio Busquets role. Thought he did okay. He doesn't have the close ball control that our other midfielders posses though.

Done OK, but I like him far more beside Darren McGregor.

It's where he played as a lad at Hutchie. Was a total standout spreading the ball about the park in they days. Never ever seen him as a centre half back then.

My pals laddie played in the same team, that's how I seen him. Sparky played in same team also.

Paul did his job today but for me he and Darren should be the first pick central defenders. No point in weakening defence to patch up the midfield so where is the much talked about strength in depth?

No from me. Too many loose passes. Pauls a defender no midfield and it showed. Still it could have been he was brilliant so worth a punt there by stubbsy. Stubbs and his staff are really shaping us to be a good hard to beat team. Seasons gone by we would have lost that game. 10 men is always tough so shows huge desire by the players. And to score in added time to level when down to 9 men was a great point

It`s a tough one but his ball winning was there for all to see, yes his short passing wasn`t there but as a ball winner he was excellent but how many times in the past have we seen Hanlon win the ball in defence and to just hoof it up the park i`ll give you he has been our best defender this year but we have good cover there with Fonts and Forster and Mcgregor , I`d just like to see him there IF the need calls for it tactically as has the abillity and the experience.
