    Christmas Presents - weird things about them!

    Rather than have a school playground chat listing all your new toys I thought I'd tell you about the instructions that came with my camera remote control.

    This is a two part gizmo for the camera I bought a few months ago. It's tidy, I love it.

    A few buttons weren't immediately obvious so I turned to the instructions for this made in China gizmo. At the outset I'll state their English is much better than my Chinese! Having said that I not selling stuff in China!

    The instructions have the usual grammar gaffs. I find reading the stuff in my head with a Chinese accent sometimes helps me understand what they're trying to say. Have you tried this?

    I immediately taken by very first sentence. "Thanks so much purchase YouPro product, YP-870 is high performance ..." How friendly that? I smiled :-)

    Anyway, on to cautions usual stuff like "Please not put our product in high temperature area, such as closed car under direct sunlight, the control panel and the other high-temperature area." Control panel? What other area? :-)

    This next one was my favourite, it's a stand alone bullet point;

    "Please not use flammable gasses in violation of this warning may cause an explosion or fire."

    It a fecking battery operated remote control! No gasses involved!

    Is this just general piece information from very nice people to help through my daily life? It nice because I bought one of their product they feel need to give me advice and care my personal wellbeing?

    Another thing. The remote works upto 100m. If I was taking a photo 100m from my camera the liklihood is it would only serve to give some thrivin $#@! a 100m start on me!

    If you haven't seen it you are a lucky, lucky man. I wish I could turn back time to the first moment that I clapped eyes on Walter in the middle of the road, in the desert, in his underpants. What a void I've been trying to fill since I watched the final episode.

    Its superb like M, you'll no be able to watch just 1 episode at a time, you'll end up doing a whole season without realising
