    Advent Calendars

I've been looking online tonight for a traditional advent calendar and came across this one:

Just thought it might interest anyone who has a wee lad as it's a bargain.

On 1st November I flipped over the page on the Hibs calendar in my front room/home office (the wean bought it for me-honest guv) and there was Wee Pat Fenlon. Talk about irony......
    Game's rigged, why bother?

Indeedy Senga. Back in the dark ages you were lucky if you got a couple of pressies. The Broons/Oor Wullie, a stocking with some small and usually insignificant items and an apple or an Orange for some reason. And your main present.

No parent spending hundreds of pounds on must have items for the bairns. You got what your parents could afford and nowt more than that.
    They're gone, not here, forgotten

I still get an apple or orange in my stocking from my parents. Plus a 20p piece. And it ain't a proper Christmas stocking without M&S chocolate coins.
